• Heads and tales

  Business: Does your character have a need for help with navigation or a taste for the finer more exotic things in life? Perhaps, for the right price, we can come to some sort of arrangement.
  
  Other seafarers: Many of Jasper's story's fall on deaf ears. It seems that those who do not risk their lives on the the great sea just simply can't appreciate the experiences and hardships he'd endured! Even in spite of their species handicaps, Jasper will feel always gravitate towards those who make their living on the open seas, be they navy men or privateers.
  
  Creatures from Far Away Lands: Jasper fancies himself having been around half the world in back. Beasts from parts distant that he's visited feeds his ego, and beasts from parts unknown feeds his curiosity. Both will find earning his favor and trust far easier than those of common bearing.
  
  Help: A good crew is a very difficult thing to keep when you have trouble paying on time and change you business plan on a day-to-day basis. His books are a mess, his inventory disorganized, and his money management a wreck. He is always on the lookout for applicants lacking in either spine or sense.
  
  
  Work: Occasionally his habits will eat into the money necessary to restock for his next voyage. Although infrequent, such circumstances are not absolutely unheard of. Perhaps such hard times have befallen our poor Jasper, and he finds himself in need of the coin needed to restart his operations.
  
  Other hedonists: Vice casts an undeniable shadow of shame, that seems to vanish with company. Drinking buddies, lechers, addicts - all will find welcome at his table.
  
  Trouble: Jasper's antics have left him with a rather tall list of ports he will avoid in all but the worst weather. Mayhap he knew one's sister or wife a bit too well, or forgot that 5 of the 10 casks of wine he'd sold were empty.
  
  Salvation: A trained eye could see that Jasper is a lost soul, suffering inside. Won't you come help him see the error of his way? Or find the light of God?
  
  The past: Anyone who might recognized him, or have had political or financial dealings with his family. Who doesn't love it when old ghosts just won't stay buried, after all?
