Background: Charlemagne has had an upbringing full of love and happiness from his family, but the truth is that it has also been quite isolated, though he has never done anything to get out of this isolation, because he honestly likes being in it. The thing is that he has lived in France, in a little town called Riquewihr, Haut-Rhin, for his entire life. It was where he grew up, and he loves it. It is peaceful and quiet, and can at the same time be full of fun. Because he has lived this quiet life for eighteen years, he has found a way to never be bored. He can literally never become bored, because he can always find something to do, even if it is just the smallest thing. Basically he was born to stay in this little town in France, and he lives there with his parents, his grandmother, and four other siblings, which means that they are five children in one house. They are obviously a big family, and actually it has been bigger, because his grandfather lived there as well at one point, but then died from cancer. After that, the grandmother wondered if she should move to not be a bother, but the rest of the family convinced her to stay there, since they wanted to help her, and give her happiness. With a lot of freetime on his hands, he has learned to speak quite a lot of languages, and also he picked up violin and piano when he was seven years old, plus he writes poems in his freetime. He is kind of the familie's "miracle child", someone with great talents. Charlemagne has a good relationship with his family, and has promised himself that he will always be with them, but there is one family member, who he dosen't have the best relationship with: His oldest brother, Abel. Charlemagne is homosexual, and his family has been so loving and accepting about it, they are very open and dosen't wish for any of their children to feel like they can't be themselves. But Abel unfortunately has a problem with his younger brother's sexuality, which sometimes leads to fights between the two, so Charlemagne tries to avoid the subject, hoping that they can still have a good relationship, but the truth is that it hurts Charlemagne a lot that his brother of all people can't accept him for who he is. Abel also has a hard time in the family, because Charlemagne is being favorited as a "golden child" by their parents. So basically, Abel is jealous of the all the love that his younger brother recieves from the family, that he dosen't get. Charlemagne has made it clear that he dosen't want it, but it dosen't matter what he does. But apart from that, he's lived a pretty quiet upbringing, with a lot of 'learning languages, playing violin and writing poems', but also spending a lot of time in the nature, because he loves being outside, especially in the summer time. Most things he learn while being outside. He has never worked apart from helping his mother and father with the vineyard, he has always been studying, since he knows it would be best to get a degree, and educate himself. Also he is a very intelligent kid, so his family thinks it would be a waste for him to quit school. He did once study at an actual school, but experienced problems there: He was being used by others for his intelligence, and he chose to ignore it for a long time, until a group of guys from his class pulled him aside, and told him that he had to do this important test for them. If he didn't, or if he messed up, one of the guys who had a liking to Charlemagne's two-year-older sister, would do something to her that 'none of them would like', he said. Charlemagne knew that these guys were trouble, and out of love for his sister, he did it, and he succeeded. The guys stayed away from his sister as promised. After this, he decided to study at home instead, because he rather wanted to be on his own, and with his family who he knew he could trust, than going through something like that again. After he began studying at home, his lifestyle has been very calm, which has resulted in the fact that he hasn't experienced much in life, and with his brothers and sisters who are in relationships themselves, and are about to move away from home, can make him feel a little lost and useless. Sometimes they have commented on it, and he has simply not said anything to it, because he dosen't know what to say. He knows what he wants with his life, he just isn't sure if he can get it.




Personality: Charlemagne can be hard to figure out. He can be just as mature as he can be childish, he can be just as serious as he can laugh until he feels like his stomach is breaking. He has many sides to him, which makes it difficult to fully know and understand him. The thing about this kid, is that he is actually incredibly intelligent, but dosen't let it show, not unless you are really close to him, and he feels like he can trust you. For example he can speak six languages, has played the violin for many many years, and knows math like the back of his hand. If someone asks him to multiply or divide, or really anything, even with big numbers, he can calculate it in his head within the matter of seconds. Most people would see these skills as a good thing, and they would brag about them, but Charlemagne does the exact opposite: He hides his talents from people. The reason is that when he was younger, he was used by people because of his talents, so now he plays stupid, like he dosen't know anything, and then no one will bother him. Not everyone likes the smart guy, and Charlemagne dosen't want to try and make people like him. When he is not around people, he dosen't need to make them like him, because the truth is, that when someone dosen't like him, it hurts him, because he tries so hard, and honestly wants friends, and wants to be in a relationship, like his siblings are. He is tired of getting critisism for the person he really is, which is why his older brother's judgement against his sexuality is hurtful, so he would rather lie and be someone who people like, and in general enjoy to be around, because if Charlemagne feels comfortable, he can be full of smiles, laughter and fun. Something else to remember is that he is an emotional man. He dosen't get angry easily, but rather starts to cry, or gets sad. So when he is let down, it might be harder for him, than for other people who aren't the same way. What Charlemagne is, is a secret box of wise words. Considering his age you would think that he would have this childish brain, but he actually dosen't. Instead his mature side comes out, and wise words comes out with it. For example: Because you're young, some people in the world think that you don't know what love is, and won't know it until you're older and more experienced. Charlemagne dosen't agree, because he thinks, that even when someone is young, they can still know what love is. Just because the person hasn't felt true love before, dosen't mean they can't feel it when it's there, and understand that this is love. He knows this about himself as well: When he finds love, he will know it. Though he dosen't think that will happen anytime soon, he has never been in a relationship, and is as much of a virgin as you can get. But that is just one of many of his silent opinions. He loves to spend time outside when the weather is nice, because that is where he feels like he can truly think. A hidden talent of his, is that he writes poems. He dosen't want people to know, because he is fearful of judgement, but he is honestly really good a voicing himself in unique ways, and again, it is outside where he can think of the words the best. Which means that when it is winter, he becomes a bit sad, because then it is too cold to be outside. Only in the summer he can truly embrace nature. He is protective of his family and dosen't want to lose them, this is shown by many things, but for example when he was threatened with his sister, instead of saying anything, he did what he was asked, and protected her. It was wrong that he didn't say anything, but he didn't want to worry her or his parents. That's just the type of person he is. When he loves you, he will do anything for you. He has a soft heart.
