The Life
History: Niadal lived her life peacefully in a small town. Her parents loved her both and took care of her. When she became five years old, she went out with her best friend (at the time) and they lived close to a forest. They both loved playing in the forest, like they always did, but this time was different. As they played, they both arrived in front of a cave. Her best friend dared her to go inside but Niadal didn't feel good about going into a strange cave. This went on for about several minutes when finally her best friend went into the strange cave. Niadal kept protesting but her friend wouldn't listen. Minutes and then soon an hour passed and that is when the little five year old girl heard a scream of terror followed by a roar. Niadal ran for her life, all the way back home.
When she arrived back home, she went straight to bed and didn't tell a soul what happened. The next day came and a knock on the door came from downstairs. Niadal's parents answered it just as their daughter started down the stairs. It was the parents of her best friend. They were asking or more like demanding where their daughter was. Niadal's parents told her they didn't have any clue, but that was when her best friend's parents spotted Niadal and told her to tell her where she was. The little girl told them the truth but they didn't believe a single word she said to them. Saying that she was the one that killed her. As time went on, more people started to disappear or wind up dead because they knew Niadal. The heat from the people in the small town was getting too much for the parents of Niadal and herself, so they packed up and moved away.
As years passed things seem to have calm down, in their new home, Niadal was turning fourteen years old and she finally had a life. Wonderful friends, family and even a boyfriend. One night, she wanted to pay a surprise visit to her boyfriend so she went to his house. When she arrived, she decided to peek through the window and found a half naked woman on top of her boyfriend, bending down to kiss him. She was too much in shock that she ran away from the house. When she ran, the woman on to of Niadal's boyfriend sat up and blood was coming down from her mouth. The boy's head was ripped clean off.
Two years went by and strange things started to happen again around Niadal. Soon it was her birthday, she was turning sixteen years old. Her parents told her not to go to school but to stay home today. The young girl didn't seem to understand until her parents handed her a note with a small package with it. Her parents told her that she wasn't her real parents and that her real mother dropped her off to them. Telling them to protect her at all cost and to give her these items when she became sixteen years old. She had placed a protection spell on Niadal, to protect her and her family from being found out, but the spell will break when she became sixteen years old. The teenager stood there in shock when she found out that her real birth mother gave her up. The girl started to read the note.
"Dear Niadal,
If you are reading this that is mean you have grown up. I wish I could of been there to see you but sadly I can not. These loving people, that I have asked, to take care of you while I am gone. I had put a spell on you to protect you and the family you live with. Sadly, that spell is going to break soon at midnight tonight. This is why I need you to remain calm and read this carefully. I want you to come and find me. Pack your things and go to small camp. If you got to these coordinates, at 10 pm -you must wait until then or else you will not be able to get through- go through the portal when it appears. I will be waiting for you on the other side. I love you dearly, honey. When you arrive, I will explain everything more. I gave you my ring to help protect you in your travels. Once again, I love you and be safe!"
Niadal stood there in shock as she read it, tears began to run down the side of her cheeks. Lifting her gaze up, she saw her adopted parents were crying too. She thanked them for everything that they did for her and protecting her. Quickly, she packed her things up and put her ring on. She kissed her adopted parents goodbye and set off for small camp. Taking a plane, since she was in small town at the time, to small camp and when she arrived. She took a cab to the coordinates that was written on the note. The man in the cab asked if she was in the right area, she said yes and handed him the money for payment. She walked to the spot that she was told to and waited. Ten came around and a flash of light appeared in front of her and a small white swirl appeared. Niadal wasn't sure if this was a good idea but she wanted to meet her mother so bad. Taking a chance, she stepped through and when she arrived she found herself in another forest but not like the one in the small town she use to live in. It was dark and colder too.
Her eyes arrived at a woman standing in front of her. The woman suddenly rushed up to her and gave her a warm hug, saying that she knew Niadal would come. She started to explain to her daughter everything she needed to know. "My name is Inya. I am a Demon Huntress and I am your mother. Your father is a horrible and evil man. I fell in love with him believing him to be true at heart, but he lied to me and only used me for my body. He wanted a son but got a daughter instead. So he hunted after me and you. I didn't want you to fall into his hands so I put a spell on you to protect you from harm, but sadly my spells don't last long and it only gave you until your sixteenth birthday. Knowing him, he will be on the lookout for you and the only way to stop him is to kill him with that sword." Her mother pointed to the sword in Niadal's hand. "That sword I gave you has been passed down from generation to generation. It is the Demon Huntress Sword. It'll form into a powerful sword that can easily kill demons and evil monsters."
"Why couldn't you kill him, yourself?" Niadal asked confused as she looked down at the ring then back at her.
"Because, my dear, only the rightful heir to the throne can kill the Demon King." When her mother told her that, Niadal couldn't believe her ears. That she was half demon and half human. Suddenly noise came from the forest and her mother continued on, "Sweetie..listen to me. No matter what happens, you will keep running. The demons that are coming after you, you will not be able to handle by yourself. I will defend you while you get away. Go to the Demon Hunter's Camp. There you will be trained to become a great Demon Huntress." Her mother gave her a piece of paper and handed it to her just as two demons appeared behind Niadal's mother. "Now go!" She pushed her daughter away and turned to face the demons.
"Mother!" Was all Niadal was able to say as she turned to make a run for it. As she got further away, all she heard was the screams of her mother and the roars of pain from the demons. A year had passed and she found the Demon Hunter's Camp. Where they train people to become Demon Hunters.
Thus her story begins...will she be able to find her father and destroy him before he kills her?
