• Description

  Wears an ethnic headdress depicting a beast resembling no known creature, although it could be seen as a composite of an aardvark, a donkey, a jackal or a fennec fox. The animal has a curved snout, long rectangular ears, a thin forked tail and canine body, with sprouted fur tufts in an inverted arrow shape; sometimes, Set is depicted as a human with the distinctive head.
  
  -Abilities-
  Invocation: User may gain control over the targets (living or unliving) by using names or phrases asking for means to manipulate a person or the universe itself, their words provide them with control over who and what they desire to manipulate.
  
  Umbra: Sinn manipulates shadows through "force of will", directing thousands, if not millions of souls to a single defined goal. The souls before forming a Sinn are subjected to "re-education". They receive the blessings of Caliga in this process, Caligla being the Sinn god, a god of darkness and "evil". In essence what this does is instill in every solitary soul involved, a skill which is not so uncommon. "Shadow magic". Thus explaining the ease with which Sinn bend darkness and their normal superiority in such magic.
  
  Divine Magic: The user is capable of using divine magic to achieve several feats such as creating, destroying and reconstructing, sometimes even to warp reality. This type of magic is usually used by a transcendent being or those related to them. Some users might use it for evil purposes
  
  Plague Magic:

  Fear Plagues
  Fear Plagues are designed to instill fear in enemies. Most spells based around Fear Plagues are based around basic or complex phobias. Some are not designed to harm enemies, but rather instill a sense of fear. They are intended for psychological warfare.
  
  

  Spells

  
  Horde of Spiders - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form. They open their mouth and a swarm of black spiders erupts out of the user's mouth. They cover the enemy but do not harm the enemy. Many enemies who have a fear of spiders can be seen begging for mercy before they even fight. The spiders get under the enemy's clothes and into crevices in the enemy's body (e.g. nose).
  
  Horde of Cockroaches - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form. They open their mouth and a swarm of cockroaches exits their mouth. They crawl all over the enemies body, getting into their clothes and sometimes through crevices in the enemies body. They do not, however, harm the enemy in any way. It would be noted that the heads of the cockroaches would be replaced with faces of loved one of the enemy
  
  Horde of Frogs - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form. Out of the user's mouth erupts a sea of green frogs. They take up much space on the battlefield, leaving little room to move and sending fear into those who fear frogs as well. upon touch, they cause debilitating violent hallucinations.

  
  
  Death Plagues
  Death Plagues main purpose is to cause physical harm to enemies. They can as small as mosquito bites or as large as committing death and destruction.
  
  

  Spells

  Blood Water - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form. Then, if there is water in the area, the user drinks the water regardless of its quality. The Sin and or Umbra mixes with the water and a small portion of the user's blood to create a magic combination of deadly water, blood and Sin, and or Umbra.
  
  Hot-Blooded Bazooka - The user increases the temperature of the blood water within their from and then regurgitates the concoction at the enemy. The concoction is blistering hot and can melt matter.
  
  Nether Flies - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form, and holds it in for at least 30 seconds. When they open their mouth, a swarm of pitch black flies erupts out of their mouth. These flies spread disease, blind enemies, and enter the enemies body until the enemy suffocates from the flies. The can also be made into a variety of colors and take the form of objects including living things.
  
  Sharpshooting Locusts - The user inhales the air around them, and converts sin, and/or umbra into a form, and unleashes swarms of highly aggressive locusts out of their mouth. The wings of the locusts, as well as their mouths, are intensely sharp. When the swarm is unleashed on a large crowd, many people will have massive scars and torn clothing. The wings of the locusts are just sharp enough to pierce armor.

  
  
  Advanced Spells
  INDIA - INDIA stands for Ingest Neuron Destroying Insectoid Army. The user emits a greenish-yellow smoke cloud from their mouth which is absorbed into the Was-Scepter IT, in turn, alters them into bein made up of thousands of extremely small insectoid creatures which penetrate the body and find their way to the brain. The insects leave blistering boils with an irritating itch as they enter the body and cause temporary blindness when they enter the brain. However, these creatures can only kill the oldest on the battlefield.
  
  Nullify: The user can cancel out the powers of others, making them unable to utilize their powers as long as they are under the user's effect. 3 turn
  
  Destabilize: The user can create destabilization in objects, environment or even abilities causing balance distortion ranging from single molecules to cosmic scales. The primary objective of this power is to make everything lose stability or balance.
  
  Lesser Summons: As a greater Sinn Set is able to bring forth the beings of the lower classes of Kinn. This is done through willing them into being present. For stronger kind, Souls may be used to coax and or bribe their form.
  
  Mummy's Boy: User is able to release souls through purging, or other means in order to summon a familiar or a mummified soul into being. these are treated as undead vessels for the souls and can be directly manipulated by Set in a variety of ways, depending on what, or how many souls used to create them; whether it is a single mummy or many; his ability to utilize their purpose would greatly change.
  
  Syphon: Has can feed off energies, blood, souls, or emotions of those around. The longer he is exposed to it the more energy internalized. This allows not only a tap into their energy pool, but as well as taking upon themselves the taint of another’s mind, and ability set. Siphoning energies through emotions and aura occur upon their own. They both require longer periods of exposure for him to siphon them, also it is dependent upon the intensity of said energies/emotions. Energy siphoned through this means can cause regeneration and energize Set. It is through these siphons in which he experiences any sort of emotions. And could be extended into him eating memories.
  
  Purge: Due to the Nature of Set's abilities his ability pool becomes vastly overcrowded and jumbled with duplicated sources for similar if not identical abilities as well as useless ones. Because of these, he uses his Ankh as a source point to purge his being and Aura pool of unwanted abilities but also Souls. This helps him thus summon and execute his abilities and powers at a fast rate as well as helps regulate all functions of his being.
  
  Assimilate: Through a past of an Afterlife God, Set is able to pull lost, or trapped souls from one place to another. Enabling him to manipulate multiple soul pools; he is also able to effectively convert the essence of something into a soul, and from there take it into him.
  
  The Seed of Sinn: Through prostrating one's own essence user can sire lesser beings into existence, generally done through some form of the vulgar act. Much like the Story of the Egyptian cosmogenesis in which Atem ripped himself from the unexisting soup, he sat on a rock and masturbated, and from his seed came Shu and Tefnut (gods/ begins that are water and air)
  
  -Weapons/Armor/Items/Equipment-
  Ankh also is known as the crux ansata that represents the deities of the afterlife conferring the gift of life on the dead person's mummy. It is made of a highly reflective amalgam of Gold, and Silver; more or less a mirror. When Used as a symbol of divinity it is capable of drawing upon some of the raw forces of existence. It holds dominate domain over the afterlife realms; as well as over the living realm. It is the symbol of the entirely Egyptian pantheon. When used as a Symbol of malice it is capable of forcing souls from one location to another, though the ankh is a symbol of life it can just as easily remove life from a being as it can grant it.
  
  Was-Scepter It appears as a stylized animal head at the top of a long, straight staff with a forked end. Was scepters were used as symbols of power or dominion, and the one carried by Set was the first creation of its kind; A symbol of control over the force of chaos that Set (as a god) represented. Upon its head was the Set animal, a familiar of the sort for which can serve as a mouth to speak should Set desire. Its form can be used to channel, direct, and further, alter the source from which he calls, Allowing him to use the forces of External energies, souls, blood, or other energy pools than merely that of the souls and umbra being a Sinn allows. Its structure was apparently cast from an obsidian faience inlay with silver and gold, over a carved bone structure. It can also be utilized to call upon a Djed-pillar
  
  Book of Djehuti is an ancient Egyptian story from the Ptolemaic period. The book, written by Djehuti, is said to contain two spells, one of which allows the reader to understand the speech of animals, and one of which allows the reader to perceive the gods themselves; This book serves as a grimoire for Set to learn, or store spells he has yet to master within. The book is said to hold the secrets of the universe But only time shall tell these secrets to whoever reads it, as Djehuti was the creator of time, writing, and wit, so shall it be.
  
  Eye of Horus is an eye; Horus was the ancient Egyptian sky god who was usually depicted as a falcon, most likely a lanner or peregrine falcon. His right eye was associated with the sun god, Ra. The eye symbol represents the marking around the eye of the falcon, including the "teardrop" marking sometimes found below the eye. The mirror image, or left eye, sometimes represented the moon and the god Djehuti; when Set and Horus were fighting for the throne after Osiris's death, Set gouged out both of Horus's eyes. The majority of the eyes were restored by either Hathor or Djehuti (with the last portion possibly being supplied magically). When Horus's eyes were recovered, he offered the left one to his father, Osiris, in hopes of restoring his life. Hence, the eye of Horus was often used to symbolize sacrifice, healing, restoration, and protection. Set uses this Eye in order to look at the true essences of thing, on a major scale to trace them from one point to another, or even to lock them in place. Its depiction in history and in modern times is associated with the symbol for medication ℞. and as such, it is implied the Eye of Horus too has powers to treat illness, and possibly resurrect the dead, which couples with Set,s mummification revivals.

• History

  Set (Seth, Setekh, Sut, Sutekh, Sety) was one of the most ancient of the Egyptian gods and the focus of worship since the Predynastic Period. As part of the Ennead of Heliopolis, he was the son of Nut and Geb and the brother of Osiris, Horus the elder, Isis and Nephthys. He was a storm god associated with strange and frightening events such as eclipses, thunderstorms, and earthquakes. He also represented the desert and, by extension, the foreign lands beyond the desert. His glyph appears in the Egyptian words for "turmoil", "confusion", "illness", "storm" and "rage". He was considered to be very strong but dangerous, and strange. However, he was not always considered to be an evil being. Set was a friend of the dead, helping them to ascend to heaven on his ladder, and he protected the life-giving oases of the desert and was at times a powerful ally to the pharaoh and even the sun god Ra.
  
  In early Egyptian mythology, Set was the brother of Horus. Set was the patron of Lower Egypt and Horus protected Upper Egypt. Set representing the night, the opposite to Horus who represented the day. Together, these two gods performed many duties of a friendly nature for the dead. He was seen as a great warrior who protected the sun barge of Ra and fought the snake-like monster called Apep. Other legends say that together they set up and held the ladder by which the deceased made their way from earth to heaven. He was officially worshiped in an insignificant province west of the Nile, which was the starting point of the road to the northern oasis. The inhabitants of the area were mostly guides to desert caravans, and it was in their interests to worship Set, the Lord of the desert. When the Upper and Lower Egypt became united, Set and Horus were often depicted together, crowning the new pharaohs.
  
  Even as an infant he was dangerous and unpredictable. According to the pyramid texts, he ripped himself violently from his mother's womb instead of being born normally like his siblings. Set was jealous of his brother Osiris. Two reasons are given for this jealousy. The first is that Osiris was made Pharaoh of Egypt after Geb resigned the throne. Set felt that he should have been given this accolade, and wished to usurp the throne. The second reason is that, according to one myth, his wife Nephthys tricked Osiris into having sex with her (by disguising herself as her sister Isis, the wife of Osiris), and bore him a son - Anubis. Set was understandably unhappy about the situation but seems to have held his grudge against his (more handsome) brother Osiris rather than his unfaithful wife. Whatever the reason, Set decided that his brother had to die.
  
  He was thought to have white skin and red hair, and people with red hair were thought to be his followers. He was associated with the desert (which takes its name from the Egyptian word "dshrt" - the red place). He represented the fierce dry heat of the sun as it parched the land, and was infertile like the desert. Initially, he probably represented the desert near Nubt, but soon he represented all deserts and foreign lands, becoming a god of overseas trade. Set had been associated with the desert and foreigners for some time before the Hyksos took over parts of lower Egypt. However, when they took him as their main god, this broke Set's association withLower Egypt. His name was erased from monuments and his statues destroyed. All of his negative attributes were emphasized and his positive side was ignored.
  
  But Set's fortunes soon changed. The Pharaohs of the Nineteenth Dynasty were from the Delta area where worship of Set was still popular. It is also interesting that both Seti I (who even named himself after Set) and Ramesses II seem to have had red hair. Although Amun was the state god, Set was more highly venerated in the Delta. Ramesses II's divided his army into four divisions and named one after Set. When he fought the Hittites he was described as being "like Set in the moment of his power" and "like Set, great-of-strength". He even named his daughter Bint-Anat (Daughter of Anath, Set's wife).
  
  The Greeks associated Set with Typhon, the largest monster ever born. Typhon was the son of the Earth and Tartarus (the place of torture in Hades), and thoroughly evil. Both were storm gods associated with the color red and with pigs (whose meat was considered to be unclean by many cultures including the Egyptians). However, unlike Typhon, Set had a protective role and even in his negative aspects, the Egyptians understood his place in the world. He was dangerous and unpredictable but could be a powerful friend. During the Ptolemaic period, a temple to both Horus and Sobek (who was often associated with Set as both took the form of a crocodile) was built south of Nubt and named Ombos (now known as Kom Ombos) after the god of the ancient city - Set.
  
  And thus began his decent, Without his people to worship him, he fell deeper and deeper into the creation made had come to make him into; They called him the God of evil chaos, what little did they know that title fell upon his enemy Apep. And so as the beliefs of Man switched, he was made corrupt, eventually succumbing to what it was he was being praised as. No longer having a true concept of self he was split down the middle, He remembered a time when he was a savior, and now he was the judge, jury, and executioner. In the years that followed The other god's went to sleep, and in their sleep that is when he Set fell his furthest No longer knowing his true self anymore he became a shadow, turning further and further to the Sins he had grown to be worshiped as.
  
  He condemned the other gods and cursed them as he had been cursed, though they sleep to this day he lies waiting for the moment to prove to them just how vile the god of the Nile has become.
