Planet- Raiona XV:
Pronunciation-(Ray-Oh-Na-H)

Raiona XV, the Fifteenth planet in the Delta Jane Series. Raiona is well know for its desert like habitat. The landscape is filled with towering sand dunes and a large saltwater ocean that divides the planet into two halves. The sun is hot during the day and the night is cool. This planet is very habitable however as oasis's are scattered across the dunes resulting in much fruit and livestock. Raiona's prime exportation is of their wonderful fruits, spices, and cloth. Architecture on Raiona is a mixture of Egyptian, Indian, and Arib desgin. Things are very colorful and complex. Most towns are quite poor, they are usually lead by sub-divisions of churches along with their version of lords, often the richest family of the city subsequently owns it. The own in in such a way that they are representatives of that town on the instance the god's request someone from that sector it will usually be one from that family.

The most recognizable feature of this planet would likely be Ankharah. The center isle where the gods find their homes. Here there is six temples, one for each of the gods, with the God of the sun on the highest peak of the isle. While the gods take a very hands off policy when it comes to running their planet, this is not by choice, as the sun god, who is said to be the king of kings or god of gods, is the one who makes these decisions. They instead send information to the churches and in turn are told to the people. Seeking audience with the gods is near impossible and if there is an occasion where you are able to meet with them then you are considered blessed.

Each god was born from the devotion of the people, they are spawned from their element. For example Elios is the physical reincarnation of the moon. Since he's just the formation of their beliefs he doesn't necessarily control the moons orbit. Its a subconscious thing rather, such as breathing or pumping blood. Without realizing it he is constantly able to spin the moon around Raiona. This is the case with the other gods as well, however they all do have powers linked to their elements as well.

Each god is blessed with a temple in their honor, often fitting with their ideals, colors, and powers. Elios's temple is a beautiful one, darkly decorated with deep grey and black marbles with the beautiful blues and silvers decorating the halls on curtains and pillows. He lives simply, and finds that he prefers to not own more things than needed. Most decorations are in the public spaces, and the most filled room is the temple library. Elios is different from the others in this regard, he also tends to keep his temple empty. He prefers only having two servants in his throne room at a time, and even that is a bit much for him. Being the god of night causes him to be quite secluded, but this is the way he likes it. The sun god on the other hand would have bright hallways, many people around, lots of gold, and always bustling.

The people of Raiona wear bright colors, loose fabric, and things with many patterns. Much like the styles of India, traditional dress wear involves lots of jewelry and beads. You wear whatever you can afford, which means most people are stuck wearing a white or tan tunic like outfit to shield from the sun, instead of the more popular clothes.

Elios has a few features that cause him to stick out. The most noticeable would be his lack of a pupil and or the whites of his eyes. It seems his whole eye is an iris, on that looks like the moon Triton (Image Below). Because of this he is very sensitive to sunlight. He finds to even open his eyes during the daytime he must be under some form of shade and thus uses an umbrella whenever he leaves the castle or to walk about the gardens. Elios is more of a night owl because of this. Due to his night activity he tends to dress in more exposed clothes since he rarely worries about the hot sun damaging his skin. He wears a tight top that has sheer fabric hanging from the midsection to slightly cover his stomach and waist (Which has the design of night upon it). Along with pants that cut off just below the knee. Elios tends to migrate towards deep blues, purples, and grays/silvers. He is a god of moons, and thus likes to wear small beads and decorations in the shapes of crescent moons. Ellipse is known for his cool style, as moons are usually well below freezing. Ellipse also has 3 tattoos. One on his back, being the phases of the moon, and one on each hand, a night inspired glove-like design thats giving to you as a god.

Ellipse, God of moon Elios, he was the second god to form on Raiona under Celest. His main job is to bring visions of the gods will to those who work in the churches. Ellipse is quite nocturnal for this reason and is often found sitting on the floor in the grand hall of his temple meditating to aid in spreading these visions. He tends to stay to himself, though find most comfort with Raile, the goddess of earth and fertility. While she is technically younger than Ellipse he sees her like a big sister or mother.

When he was first formed the only other god was Celest, but even from the beginning of time they had a hard time getting along. They had conflicting ideals, and even in personality they rarely had anything similar. While they don't get along they work in unison. Night and day go hand in hand, but they have a hard time accepting this.
The God hierarchy is built under the sun god. The sun is strongest politically, and beneath him are the 5 others: moon, water, fire, earth, and air. Celest (Arashar)
Nature: The god of the sun, light, radiance, illumination, the daytime sky, dawn and dusk, royalty, rule, law, order, youth, joy, delight, mischief, sight, illusion, visions and prophecies.

Nature: The god of the moon, darkness, night, the starlit sky, midnight, astrology, coolness, reflection, sleep, dreams, nightmares, blindness, hallucinations, madness and lunacy.
Symbols: Lunar discs, lunar crescents, stars, mirrors, astrolabes, wolf pelts, owl feathers.
Sacred Animals: Wolves, dogs and other canines. Owls, ibises, nighthawks, nightjars and nightingales. Bats and flying squirrels. Rabbits, hares and picas. Fireflies and moths.
Sacred Plants: Fir, pine, birch, mistletoe, coconut, spruce, olibanum and athel trees. Moonflower, protea, peony, sweet pea, gardenia, white poppy and lavender flowers.

Delta
Nature: The god of water, the seas, rivers, lakes, springs, rain, knowledge, language, speech, writing, history, arithmetic, alchemy, medicine, healing, sailing, navigation and fishing.
