    Bildix is a man in his forties. He's bald, he's got a soft belly and he's got the confidence of someone who's been a competent adult for decades.

    As a betazoid Bildix has jet black eyes and black hair (though nowadays his only hair is his goatee). He's an animated and curious man who wears a ready smile.

    Bildix is a gregarious person who enjoys having a variety of friends.

    He is an artist whose medium of choice is glass and light. He enjoys sculpting and painting. It is how he relaxes.

    Bildix is a telepath. He can hear clearly from people who are within two metres of him, but as they move further away he becomes less able to perceive their thoughts. If someone is in yelling distance he can vaguely perceive their mood, but no more.

    Bildix is allergic to drama. He doesn't want to have to counsel someone through their emotional crises or have to act as a sounding board. He's old enough to know that he doesn't have a special insight into the workings of the heart, and he doesn't want to be the one telling one mind-deaf person what another mind-deaf person is thinking about them.

    He has low tolerance for non-telepaths who take his ability to read them for granted while making no effort to get to know his inner emotions just as deeply. He expects reciprocity and that lack had been the main reason he'd split up with his husband.
