"Sir Iskra...it's time."

In the darkness of the abandoned mine, one that had since become home to a band of murderous rouges, a smile was illuminated by dimly lit lanterns and torches. A ferocious smile; somewhat uneven, thanks to a baby tooth that came out just a little too late, but bearing canines that had been sharpened to a point. The smile's owner was a similarly ferocious looking person- first glance would say male, but a second look-over would note feminine lashes and a more gentle slope to her hips and backside, not to mention the leather straps that kept her chest firmly bound down. A loose tunic rested on her frame, belted around her waist with a large leather belt that was most definitely not her size, but she made it work. She wore leather trousers, tucked into a set of short slouched boots; the dark leather was stained slightly, the crackles more red than grey from the years of spilled blood.

Around her shoulders, she wore a set of furs, heavy and grey as they were, it was most likely from a wolf. Her various other outfits always included furs, but this one happened to be her favorite. It was loosely secured to her cloak for easy removal; now that cloak, that was a whole new story. Heavy and wool, dark blue with the Onyx Crest; hers was lined with gold stitching, clearly quality work though why exactly a band of thieves, killers and rogues had such lavish cloaks was unknown to most.


At her feet lay five wolves, all white with piercing red eyes, and when she stood they moved with her, walking at her sides as she moved through the herd of men; all wore the crest on their cloaks or shirts, and all wore the same ferocious smiles, eyes full of bloodlust. Slowly, they followed; weapons were plucked from holsters and arrows were nocked, daggers unsheathed and hammers removed from backs; as they approached the heavy wooden doors that signaled one of the many exists of the den, a low chanting began, erupting into a terrifying mix of howls and calls and yells.

The onyx bandits were the lowest of the low; murderers and slavers, thieves and adulterers. Down to their cores they were wicked, self serving. Their 'good' deeds always had intentions beyond the wellbeing of others; like the pets their King kept, they were animals, wild and uncontained.

And Iskra? Iskra was the worst of them all.
