Rules

  • General Rules

I hate rules, so I keep our roleplays very simple.

-No explicit descriptions of sexual encounters.

-No replacing good dialogue with profanity. I really don't care if you swear, but make sure it fits with the vernacular of your character. If it is used because that's all you can think of... you are probably not a good writer.

-No cheesing, Godmoding, bunnying or otherwise being an obnoxious and unskilled RPer.

-No being stupid and trying to turn the setting into something it isn't. This is a huge world with many, many types of characters and playable ideas available. I'm very flexible with playstyles! That being said, if your character is named Nekku-ChanXxXSenpai the nine tailed rainbow fox-unicorn-princess who has an emo fairy sidekick that looks like Harry Styles and writes edgy Sherlock fanfiction, I probably won't accept.

-No being mean or putting down other people's characters. Unless, of course, they adamantly refuse to acknowledge the rule above, in which case, still don't be mean and put down other people's characters. We'll deal with that.

It's pretty simple. Just don't suck at being a decent person or writer. Be nice, write nice. Have fun!
  • Posting Rules

These rules will not get you kicked out if disobeyed, but will cast doubt on your ability as a RPer if not followed. Break these guidelines at your own risk.

-Use correct grammar and spelling. At least doubel check you're posts to make sure their are no glARing errors, k?

-Don't be evil. This isn't Twilight, there are no misunderstood vampires or sexy demon lords. The darkness isn't attractive or alluring, it will rip your mind out and leave you a slobbering, insane shell of a human being. (Which, incidentally, is exactly what characters in Twilight are like.)

-LET THERE BE ACTION. Remember, actions speak louder than words. If your character is not actively making a choice, doing something useful or otherwise moving the plot along, your post probably is fluff and should not be posted. I've seen too many posts like this:

Mary Sue walked over, sat down and stood up. She batted her eyelashes at iamsadness23's character, who she really hoped would at least smile back in the next post....anyways she announced her name to everyone and then sat down again, "Hello, I like cats and handsome vampires." She turned expectantly to the handsome vampire sitting next to her.

This has no purpose. I don't care about the length of your post, just make sure it has a purpose.
