Centuries ago, the vast island of Draegeria was widely uninhabited. But according to legend, three godlike entities, referred to as The Ancients, set foot upon the land and assimilated with the island's primitive tribes. Each Ancient rose an empire for their future progeny. They are,
The Sanguine (Vampires)
The Daemons (Demons)
and
The Lycans (Shifters and Werecreatures)
Peace is generally well-kept in Draegeria, though racial wars and battles for the island's resources do occur.
The Ancients also blessed the land with Angels - benevolent beings tasked with keeping Draegeria's inhabitants safe, and mediating when conflict arises.
Through the years the Ancients had vanished, leaving Draegeria bustling with the gift of life. Their work was done.
