CreepFest, the haunted maze inside the Creepy Crawl, is open starting on Sept. 18th. It will run until November 1st, and will be open Every Thursday night-Sunday night, 6:00pm-1:30am. Band and Creepy Crawl merch will be sold, and there will be candy/drinks (beer and water) for sale. There's security, and workers with first-aid training.
During the Creepy Crawl haunted maze season, weapons will be checked at the door, and anyone coming into the Crawl isn't allowed to wear masks or crazy-heavy prosthetic or makeup (basically, anything that prohibits a person's face from being recognized). Of course, people that work there won't be bound to this once they get inside.
Also, Ferry 'Cross the Mersey will be playing every Friday night. Every-other Friday (starting from Sept. 18th) will be Halloween-themed music.
The maze was made by Dax, and is a metal frame with padded mats over it (so it doesn't hurt when you run into it). There's a cerberus which also spouts fog from its mouth that guards the entrance, much to Hack's horror, and there's themed rooms inside the maze. One is a hospital/asylum room (room description below). In the hallways, there are things that drop down from the ceiling such as spiders and hands, and there are creepy half-mummified rotting people 'in' the walls, which can also move. Are they real people?? There's also a Slenderman that likes to creep behind people, especially those that are taking pictures.
Hospital room description (just taken from an rp): Fortunately, they hadn't hit any dead ends yet! Just a room- that branched off into several other pathways. Blood was splattered on the walls, even more eerie in the lighting; severed limbs filled up the sink, and a doctor was sawing the leg off of his patient while she screamed and howled, and a Silent Hill nurse stood guard. Props, or real people?? Hard to tell! "Which way should we, umm.... Hack was as lost as they were. Well, assuming they were lost! He stared at everything. And stared, and stared. It was kind of dark, so it didn't look like they were real, but maaaybe they were... he just didn't know! There were some props that had been donated by various people, so for all he knew, they were fake. Buut he couldn't help himself. of course in a real situation he'd be running away screaming, but with the haunted maze, he was a little more brazen than in real life. He reached a hand out to tap the doctor on the shoulder to see if he'd react, but he didn't. Fake! The nurse, on the other hand, would move sloowly up behind Tris, and Hack noticed, pointing with a finger. "She's-" He didn't get the words out as the patient with the sawed-off leg flopped onto the floor with a horrible screach. Definitely not fake! And neither was the doctor. Upon closer inspection, the guy seemed to have no face. Hack shrieked and laughed at the same time, backing up away from all of them quickly, hopefully not running into anyone. "Ta the- the-" Which direction had Lilah said, again? He squeaked to Tris, as the nurse and patient followed them a little ways, the doctor yelling for them (or the patient) in a horrible, bloodthirty voice to 'come back and take their medicine'. "N-no way!!" Hack called back, taking the suggested right. Meanwhile, Slenderman continued to creep, and would probably be in a few of Britt's shots already.
