The following are the continuity level rules for the Nightwind Continuity. If you wish to join or Rp with the continuity at the very least these rules must be followed.
1. If you wish to Rp or join the nightwind continuity then make sure your character(s) have at least realistic name(s). So no crap like sexyman58. Any attempts to join or rp with the continuity with such a name shall be denied and or ignored. You are however allowed to not have a last name or a title in place of a name as long as you have a back story to explain it.
2. No using net speak during Rp sessions. Take a moment to spell out full words please. You can use net speak for ooc conversation. Jut not Ic.
3. All members of the continuity shall respect one another as well as guests. If you have a problem with someone then either don't say anything at all or at a minimum keep it out of the public eye.
4. Drama can and will happen. It's inevitable. If the drama occurs IC then roll with it. Might make a good Rp. If it's OOC then keep it to whispers in a OOC area or out of the continuity altogether. Any OOC drama will not be tolerated at all within IC areas unless it's in whispers where it can't be seen.
5. When an Rp is in progress, keep OOC chatter to whispers unless it's for a brief moment to explain exactly how something occured. Then in that case keep it to brackets of some kind. () []
6. If a problem occurs during an Rp, try and figure it out amongst yourselves first. If you can't then try and get ahold of a dream/continuity moderator to assist.
7. A continuity moderators word is law. If they say something about a situation then that's the final word. This is of course in relationto any problems in which a moderator is needed. If the problem is IC based then it depends upon a persons IC job title.
8.within the continuity we use free form rp. This means no dice. The only exception to this is if a character or characters are doing something that involve dice. Ie playing yahtzee. If you don't know how to free form rp then either learn or leave.
9. No god modding what so ever. You may use a character who is a god but that doesn't mean that attacks and stuff will always miss or not affect you.
10. On continuity based issues the council shall vote to determine the outcome of things such as suggested continuity improvement ideas.
11. All dreams within the continuity have their own set of specialized rules. If you wish to join the Nightwind continuity you are saying that you either have read or will soon read the rules to the individual dreams soon and will abide by them as well.
12. We do use the consent rule in the continuity. This means that extraordinary circumstances must have permission granted prior to doing them. Ie you must ask a player if it is alright if their character dies in combat should the situation arise. Other circumstances that the consent rule applies to are 'yiffing' dismemberment rape etc. Basically if it doesn't get classified as a normal circstance you need permission from other parties involved to do it.
13. All personel with the ability to eject and or ban someone are neutral in their decisions that harbor those possibilities. This means just because your friends with a person irl or something doesn't mean your safe from being ejected or something. Nor does this mean you can go around saying you know so and so and thus can get someone else ejected. Yeah they may get ejected but 9 times out of 10 you'll get ejected too for claiming such a thing. It all depends upon the circumstances in which someone asked for someone else to be banned.
