Many of us use RP as an escape. Most of us aren't professional actors. Fact is that lines will get blurry. Follow the first two rules, be aware that causing a ruckus on this rule will be bad, and we should all be gravy.

We all love our characters, and want them to progress and be cool. It's understandable and even expected. But if the staff approaches you about nerfing your character, there's a reason.

Drama Llama
Drama and conflict can be beneficial to any story. But don't let that be the only thing that's brought to the table. Most of us consider constant tortureporn RP to be distasteful. And naturally, creating an overabundance of drama OOC is highly discouraged. We're all here to have fun, so there's no need for such things.

Continuity
Open and accepting of things that may change or affect the continuity, but talk to the staff first. There are plans and wheels moving that you might be unaware of. Also, please don't assume something is one way because it was that way somewhere else. If you can't find or don't know the information, it's not a problem whatsoever to ask a staff member. You might bring something to light that needs to be addressed.
