Upon a jagged island lies Perdition’s Rock. The birth of the island is shadowed in myth and mystery. It is believed to have been brought from the very ocean floor, previously untouched by any eyes. The rumors are enforced by the rocky outcrop surrounding the island, much unlike any other coast ever dared to have, making it impossible for ships to land anywhere but the port town on the southern end of the island. The town is plagued or perhaps blessed, with a seemingly ever-present night that daylight dares to interrupt for only three to six hours a day. In the town, you may find hardy people, lumberjacks, sailors, pirates, mercenaries, miners, outlaws, and runaways, all of them drawn to the island’s promise of a fresh start or high pay. The island is not a fertile land, so the people living on it subsist primarily on fish and game, relying on trade with nearby civilizations to diversify their diets

The Commodore Admiral has officially announced that Ilius is no longer mayor. This means that the position of mayor, the person responsible for allocating the city's budget, is now open. Interested parties should prepare a speech, which they will give publically over the weekend.

The Commodore has announced that a recent bout of hangings””twelve canine men in total””is in connection with Wolf Brothers activity. Many in the town are pleased to see that something is being done. Others whisper that it's all for show, that the men on the hanging posts did nothing to deserve their fate.The End?

The bounty notice that was posted for Kalix'nial's head has been taken down. So has the notice calling Alauntree Baenduis to trial. In their place, a new posting, a call to arms for mercenaries to join the fight against the Wolf Brothers and restore peace to Perdition's Rock!Custody

After a brief altercation in the tavern, it seems that Commodore Admiral Kalix'nial has been taken into the custody of the master of the city's castle.
In unrelated news, the Sea Guardian was seen to surface in the harbor, staring at the city for a few minutes. The locals are taking this as a sign...Refuge

Three Serpent guards report back to Kalix that Alauntree Baenduis seems to have disappeared. The last she was seen was when they were pursuing her through the forest, intent on arresting her. Currently, she has been given refuge in Erebus Castle. While she is not a prisoner, she is not allowed to... -
