  • Roleplay Rules of STW

    Any breaking of the rules or code of conduct results in a permanent removal and allowed not to rejoin.

    Rules

    1. Everyone must contribute as often as possible.
    2. The focus of your posts must be on your character.
    3. Each post must be written from his/her character of thoughts and actions owned by the player according to events happening around them.
    4. Make sure each post under a topic thread includes Mission Day and Mission Scene. Mission time is optional:

    For example-

    Mission Day: 1
    Mission Scene: Away team on Ceti Alpha IV
    Mission Time (optional): 1400 hrs

    5. OOC Chatter is the place where all feuds and technicalities are settled by members either with or without the STW Founder's help.
    6. Any new races, ships, tech or planets must be approved by the STW founder.

    7. No God-modding unless it with the permission from another player. It can be such as killing, injuring a character, use of for example the doomsday machine, etc. Use of other characters that other people RP with is forbidden unless it approved by another member's permission. Any thing similar to doomsday machine, V'Ger, or other must have approval of the STW Founder. Use of the dice feature in the IC area is recommended to be used to help determine outcomes such as in war situations, etc.

    8. If you are going to be absent for extended period of time please notify the founder and place a note about it in the OOC Chatter Room. Make sure your characters are roleplayed into a position where they are not part of what is going in the IC room currently so no one takes advantage of your character(s).

    9. 60 days max if your not active you will be removed. If your application has been rejected if you are looking to join Star Trek Worlds may re-apply to join after 5 days if you haven't been previously banned from STW. Those members that break the rules are not allowed to rejoin at all.

    10. A single IC roleplay thread may not spin off into other separate topic threads is not allowed. This is for to keep it less confusing for all role players. As well this keep things in check so chaos doesn't spin out.

    11. On adult/violent/language/content in the IC areas is please keep it at minimum and keep it Star Trek friendly much as possible.

    Code of Conduct

    1. All members must act in respect toward others in the forums at all times.
    2. Comments attacking a person's race, religion, gender or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.
    3. Impersonation of other members is prohibited.
