22:18:33 [Ty_Burna] What in the hell?!? *As the hands wrapped around him and began pulling him towards the fire. Struggling against the grip of the giant hands he could feel his flesh scalding from the immense heat. Though he was one that used fire, he was still relatively human. Of course the key word being "human". He lowered his head and seemingly gave in to his predicament, his breathing becomes labored, the Chaos symbol tattooed across his chest begins to glow, a malevolent energy of his own forming around him. His hair rises up, taking the shape into horns and his hands twisting and contorting into claws. HIs eyes flashed briefly before letting out a blood curdling scream. The transformatio not complete, he was running against time as he was drawn nearer to the maelstrom of fire. His skin begins to turn black, his muscle mass increasing greatly as the transformation continued. His voice deepened as he screamed out once more* You have chosen the wrong man to attack! The Harbinger of Chaos will not be denied! *He thrusts his arms out, still not completely changed but hoping that the increased strength would be enough. His skin has been changed to obsidian giving hiim protection against the flames, but unknown to him is how long he will be protected. The malevolent energy swirls around Ty before striking out at the flames themselves, attempting to bind the flames and give Ty control over them.*
22:20:06 [Diandra_Moon] Diandra didn’t need any further urging. She grabbed and end table and it burst into flames, but enough of it remained for her to throw through the floor to ceiling window that was in the room, letting the moonlight filter through. The sound of shattering glass could be heard, filling the sudden silence as smoke began to gather. She stepped out first, the heat of her body melting the glass, the sudden change in temperature making it cool into a smooth surface for Rain to drag Cal through. She didn’t go far, just far enough to not be caught by the house if she could keep from it.
22:20:52 [The_Haunted_House] It was all ending. Though Diandra and Rain had escaped, the house made no move to catch them again. Instead the walls began to shake and heave with the sound of screams. Angry, vicious wails like a child throwing a tantrum, the flames dancing and guttering, going out altogether to leave ugly black scars while the house fought against it's fading presence, it's violent actions growing fainter, and fainter until all was still. The only evidence that anything had happened were the ashes Diandra had left behind. Upstairs the woman of blood embraced Lorelai with a gleeful, evil smile, her yellow eyes trapping Lorelai's own in an unbreakable gaze, and then before the enchantment could stop her, sank into the pool of blood with Lorelai in tow, both disappearing from sight as all that blood seeped into the cracks between the floor boards. Disappearing as if it had never existed. The house fell silent. Empty, lifeless, the hours each year when it could feed over. Once more it was nothing but an old abandoned building surrounded by a untended maze and a forgotten cemetary, the corpses having gone back to their graves and back to their endless slumber.
22:23:57 [The_Haunted_House] The flames licked and licked, peeling layers of skin off Ty's torso, consuming then with a kind of abandoned glee. But far before they were finished, far before they were satisfied, the magic began to fade, the clock striking the hour with great chimes that seemed to shake the house, the screams beneath the musical notes grating and agonized. The flames clung stubbornly to him, charring skin and burning hair, but eventually they could be maintained no more. With a howl of rage they sank back into the burners, growing smaller and smaller until they too disappeared. The kitchen returning to it's former appearence. Though the smell of burnt flesh hung in the air, and Ty's injuries were very real. There would be no more danger tonight.
22:24:27 [Kimeko] In the back of her mind, she ran through options, even as the fore of her mind was filled only with growing desperation, laced with growing irritation. Just what the hell kind of house was this? If the teeth of the face-head sank its pointed teeth into her arm, she planned to attempt to pry it off with her sword... But... Surprise, surprise, she was actually able to hit it. With strength that belied her petite form, she swatted at the creature as it fought... And when it finally left her alone, she couldn't have been more shocked, half convinced that it would overpower her... After all, she hadn't sensed any life within it... Had she? But she did think she could hear yells from within the lower confines of this ancient house... She stood where she was for a moment, sword still up-raised as the sounds faded away, before picking up the teeth it had left behind, examining them in a hand, then stuffing them in a pocket. After scanning the room a bit, she would search for a door and a way down into the rest of this beastly manor.

22:25:42 [Calanthe] Strong hands forced his mouth away. The blood was bright on his lips, and his mouth and throat were full of it. He licked his lips and smiled. For all the world, he looked as if he had no conception what was going on around him, or what had happened. There would be no need to drag him about, thank you. He was quite on his feet and lively, if a little too smug looking. The house wailed around him… the death throes of some enchantment he was unlikely to remember. Then it was a house like any other. Dilapidated, silent. No beautiful women bringing intoxicating beverages. Damn. He went to the door and the knob turned smoothly in his hand; he drew it open and drifted out. If he’d been more with it, he might have looked for his friends. Things being as they were, he just stepped onto the porch and out into the cold darkness. It felt good, the air… innocent somehow. And he was in desperate need of that.
22:26:56 [Aerienne] :: Diandra shattered the window, and she needed no other enticement. The energy had shifted in the house to more of a neutral tone, but she was taking no chances. Cal wandered his own way, she ran after Diandra, they all made it out. Into the night air, she escaped and gets to live another day. It's all any of them can ask for, really. ::
22:30:31 [Ty_Burna] *Of course he wouldn't be able to change to his obsidian form in time, and as he dropped to one knee he returns to normal, his hair fairly singed as he holds his torso in immense pain. He gazes down, his stomach muscles fully revealed.* Damn this cursed house. *he pulls himself back to his feet and stumbles out of the kitchen and towards the front door, kicking the door open, at least he gets some sort of revenge on that accursed house. He stumbles out onto the porch, his bad arm wrapped around his well burnt stomach. He reaches into his vest and struggles to pull a cigarette out, sparking it with a snap of a finger.* Good riddance. *he glares over at Calanthe before tossing him a cigarette. The chaos symbol suddenly flashes where his skin once was, the threads of flesh slowly sewing themselves together.* I need a drink in the worst way. Chaos can wait until tomorrow. *he grimaces as layers begin to renew themselves, the tattoo returning in it's proper place. The pain still remains but at least his insides won't be as easily spilled.*
22:32:19 [Diandra_Moon] Diandra sighed when it seemed that everything was over. She collapsed onto the grass and fell onto her back, her arms and legs akimbo as she stared up at the sky. Her enjoyment was shortlived though, because a pale face was glaring at he a moment later, blood red hair nearly to the ground tickling her head. “Um…Hi?” She knew she was in trouble, she didn’t need the turned down corners of Shira’s mouth to know that. “Hello…” The ancient vampire said. “Did you have a good night?” Diandra sighed and shook her head. “Not really.” Shira crossed her arms over her chest and raised a blood red brow. Diandra knew what she was waiting for. “I’m sorry I snuck off. I won’t do it again.” Shira snorted. “Oh yes you will.” She noticed the sling on Diandra’s arm and helped her up. “What happened?” Diandra didn’t need to explain. Shira’s gaze narrowed the moment she saw the event in Diandra’s mind and she was in front of the intoxicated Cal a second later, nose to nose with him. “You ever dislocate something on her again, I’ll dislocate your fangs from your mouth.” She knew he was too out of it at the moment to know what she was saying, but she had the feeling he’d remember later, and they could fight later. It was fine with her. “I’m taking Diandra home. Stay away from her.” She turned her back on Cal and went back Diandra. “Let’s get you home and get you a bath. You smell like you need one.”
22:38:56 [Calanthe] He stood there staring at the darkness and taking thin, needless breaths. He caught the cigarette Ty tossed… turned to look at him. Where did he know this guy from? Between the scene in the graveyard and the situation on the carpet, Cal had misplaced a few memories. A bit hesitantly, he smiled. His mouth was garish, all bloody, thanks to Rain. And Cal hadn’t the presence of mind to clean it. He took a drag. “Thanks…” The smoke drifted from his mouth as he spoke. “I’m Cal. This…” Here, he lifted the cigarette a little. “… Was exactly what I needed.” Something was off, though. He didn’t appear to hear Shira’s threat and the whole thing with Diandra, even if the redheaded vampire was right in his face. He also didn’t stick around to catch Ty’s name. He bounded lightly down the porch steps, careful, as they were rotten in places, and vanished into the darkness.

22:39:46 Kimeko stopped at the top of the stairs, having followed the odor of burned flesh and hair. It felt like an assault from here, and only increased as she made her way down the stairs. The air felt empty to her now, and the house empty... Empty of things that used to only exist in ghost stories... A fingertip ran along the railing as she took the last few steps down and looked into the dark foyer. Or perhaps it simply sleeps... Rather than investigating the source of the smell, which was coming from the back of the house, she simply exits the front door, easily unlocking it, now that it was no longer being willed shut. A shudder passed through her as she crossed the threshold into the cool, crisp air. Wings once again unfurled from her back and she skipped down the few steps from the porch, and returned to the skies. One last glance at the house as she resheathed her blade, and she flew in the direction of the tavern... Haunted by the memory of a hunger that was greater than hers... Such a malevolent void...

22:45:15 [Ty_Burna] *He shakes his head as the last of the nicotine enters his system, a deep breath escapes him as he lifts ihs hand up and fire rises up around him. He slowly melts into the ground, flicking the cigarette at the last second, the only evidence of himself being there. Perhaps the small ember will set the whole damned place ablaze for all he cares, and with that he disappears to whatever dimension he excused himself to.*
