After hearing that killure had almost immediately fallen asleep, the physical and mental exhaustion of the day had finally caught up to him.

In the middle of the night serene would be awoken by shifting on killure's side od the bed, panicked shifting, followed by the sounds of heavy panting.
Serene perked her head up "killi?" She said in a worried tone of co
Killure was sitting on the bed, he was covered in sweat and panting heavily, his silver eyes were glowing in the darkness and his hand was formed into a claw and clutching his chest, there was a look of absolute fear on his face, most likely a nightmare of some sort.
Serene sat next to him "hey..." she placed her hand on his shoulder "hey relax..." she moved her hand to his back as she begun rubbing it. "Its okay killi it was just a dream." With her soothing voice she tried to calm him
Killure snapped out of his daze as he heard her voice, and immediately pulled her into a hug, he buried his face into her neck and slowly calmed back down "please... don't leave me" he mutters shakily, this is the most vulnerable he's ever been
"Leave you? Where did you even get that idea from!" She slightly blushed because you know the whole neck thing as she hugged him back, rubbing his back "does it have to do with the nightmare dear?"
"Maybe" he muttered like a child, he took a deep breath, taking in serene's scent and let out a more relaxed breath, clearly just her presence is enough to calm him
"Do you want to talk about it? It might make you feel better if you let it out of you..." she said in a calm tone as she gently played with his messy black hair.
