Synopsis: An unremarkable middle aged woman is accidentally drawn into a fantasy world that she very clearly was never intended to encounter. As she travels through the world in search of a way home, she meets an eclectic cast of characters and is eventually drawn into a battle only she can fight, precisely because she was never meant to do it. The only reason she can hope to succeed is because she is Not The Chosen One.
Author Notes: I saw a prompt once about a motherly woman ending up in an isekai fantasy designed for a teenage boy and it sort of sparked my interest. It started as a way to poke fun at traditional isekai tropes but has since evolved to include ideas of self determination, toxic behavior and the sacrifices inherent in societal change. So that's been fun. We'll see where else it takes me as I write.
