Braith Norton. That was his name. He spent the first 4 years of his life in a little town with his parents, his older sister and his baby sister. One day when he was 4, a masked man entered the town. The moment that stranger laid eyes on him, he could feel the power Braith had, and knew he needed to train him. He tried to get Braith to leave the town with him, but Braith refused. He was too young to want to leave his parents. The masked man grew enraged when Braith wouldn't follow him, so he destroyed the town. Incinerating every building, and executing everyone in the town except Braith and his family, right in front of him. He then forced Braith to murder his family. After that the man forced Braith to go live with him, where he would be trained as a witch, and his powers and strength built up. By the time Braith was 6, he had seen and participated in hundreds of murders, all by the force of the masked man. When Braith was 8, the number of murders was up to thousands. He had had enough. One day, while his master was sleeping, Braith murdered him. Unknown to Braith at the time, the soul of the masked man had invaded his shadow. He then ran as far away as he could, eventually finding himself in another small town. Braith knew he was too corrupted to live in that town, so he did the only thing he knew. He brainwashed himself, ridding himself of his past. Just before going through with it, he gave himself the name Hunter, and swore to eliminate every evil man in the world. There are rare occasions when things may trigger rare flashbacks to pieces of his past he didn't completely forget. However, the masked man's soul still lives in his shadow. His shadow sometimes has a mind of its own, and tries to control Braith.
Braith has an older sister. She was eight years old at the time of the attack, and was in a neighboring town. She had no idea what happened when she returned from visiting their friends. Braith knew she wasn't there, but the masked man didn't know about her. He didn't tell him, out of fear he would be forced to kill her as well. When Braith forgot his past, he forgot his sister as well. She may show up in any rps with him, and may or may not be the key to unlocking his past.

Hunter knows nothing about his past before he turned 9, nothing about what brought him to this strange town he was in. All he knew, was his name was Hunter, and he had no family. A nice older couple that lived there took him in, and raised him as their own. It was quite evident that this boy had powers and was quite unique, so his new parents trained him carefully so that no one would get hurt. Besides controlling his powers, at the age of sixteen, Hunter had developed great skill with both bows and firearms and was quite capable of hunting, a skill befitting his name. He strived to perfect his skill, as she cared for his aging parents. He felt a strange calling to use his skill to rid the world of evil, so at the age of eighteen, when his parents had died of old age, he set out to do just that.
