Test your fortitude with the Trail of Hardship; traverse the wicked obstacle course with all your might.
Wind through wayward trails, squirm through struggling obstacles, climb the callous heights.
Prove yourself the strongest, the toughest and earn the right to brag about your prowess.
The Dragon Guard Jormun is here to put you to the test.
OBSTACLE ONE;
A pit of opalescent tar. A sticky, horrible, gooey mess that will not be easy to trek across.
Your feet with get stuck, your legs will sink if you do not move fast enough.
Make sure you start off with a sprint!
OBSTACLE TWO;
With the aid of strongmen and blacksmiths alike, a large chunk at the base of the volcano has been broken off and turned into a climbing wall.
Foot and finger holes have been carved into the twelve foot cliff face, but watch out! The material is brittle and can break off without warning.
OBSTACLE THREE;
A literal pit of fire. Contestants that have reached this far will now have to face a walk across burning hot coals.
This requires more than just speed, but a certain type of cunning and vigilance to cross without scalding.
OBSTACLE FOUR;
A massive block of ice now confront the runners who have made it this far. Through the massive glacier, a twisting maze has been crudely carved.
Both speed and wit is required to slither your way through the block, though the longer you remain the colder you will become.
OBSTACLE FIVE;
A breath away from the finish line! But this time, your obstacle is invisible.
Two air mages have been placed at either side of the finish line, and will be conjuring up an epic blast of wind to stop you from progressing.
Push through the vortex and claim sweet victory!
Rewards:
Slaves;- A free meal from the bar and extended time when bathing.
Patrons;- A free meal at the bar and two hundred gold.
This event is mostly geared toward slaves, though patrons are more than welcome to join in.
