As summer begins to wind down upon the isle of hedonistic delights so too do we find the island ridding itself of the fae pests that bring their mischief to us every year. In celebration of their magic leaving us, and yet also to honor the nature of the mystery they bring the Golden Tether is proud to announce our Fairy Migration Masquerade.
In the name of tradition, all guests will be expected to wear masks to hide or hinder their identity. Those who are for some reason or another bereft of one will be given a simple black mask at the entrance to the garden upon arrival. Those who wish it can also fully dress in costume. Those who don't will be required to wear formal dress.
Wish that the magic had lasted a little longer? Well for one night only small vials of the dust from the fae will be made available for those who wish to use them. The effects will be random so hopefully fortune will favour those who are bold enough to try them.

For the pleasure of our patrons there will also be special drinks provided and served by some lovely slaves. After all, homage should be paid to the green fairies, no?
Drinks
Snap of Magic: A simple mixture of absinthe and champagne for a bubbly refreshment. Perfect to get the party started in a sophisticated and yet utterly enjoyable way. Presents in a cocktail glass as a very soft green-yellow drink.
Foaming Fairy: A strange and delightful mixture of gin, absinthe, lemon juice and a small bit of egg white to create a foaming concotion decorated with just a few dainty drops of bitters. Very brightly verdant with a white foam on top.
Glowing Night: For those who aren't quite willing to tangle with the Green Fairy, this lighter drink will be made available. It's a blend of white rum, blue curacao and pineapple juice with a garnish of a lime wedge and blue coloured sugar around the rim to make the bright green of the drink pop with life.
Who: Patrons and Slaves. (unowned slaves must be there to serve or with a patron.)
Where: The *garden by the lion fountain.
