Limits & Triggers
Triggers Triggers are serious things. These are anything that would absolutely ruin your day if you happened to accidentally read them. You need your partners to be extra careful in not including these in roleplays with you. Please remember though, that it's also your responsibility to inform them of these in the planning stage. ⚠ Domestic Abuse Not a fun thing in my fun funny writing space ⚠ Pedophelia Absolutely don't go there in any fashion ⚠ Sexual Violence Again, not a fun topic to explore for me. I don't really wanna think about it. Squicks Squicks aren't quite as serious as triggers. They may just gross you out or make you kind of uncomfortable, and you'd prefer to avoid them if possible, but they won't say, trigger a panic attack. Coming across these may just make you go, 'oh come on, gross!' 🦠Graphic Gross-out I'm lumping a lot of things together here but like, incessant farting, vomit, diarrhea- anything that you'd find as a gag in Ren & Stimpy I may end up rolling my eyes at. 🦠Graphic Torture/Injury Weirdly enough I think of Spongebob when I state this, but like, think The Splinter or that time Squidward rips the entirety of his eyebrow off. Very detailed very SPECIFIC harm to sensitive areas like toe/fingernails I'm gonna be real are just kinda weird to me. I am raising my eyebrow. 🦠Fetish Content Not enough to ruin my day, but definitely will weird me out if it's unfiltered and if it was really gone out of one's way to put it there. I'd prefer disclosing anything like that and keeping that in appropriate spaces. Limits Limits are personal rules you'd like to set for roleplaying with you that may not fit anywhere else. Things like, 'let's check in if our characters start arguing badly', or 'let's plan out the outcomes of character vs character battles before they start' would be good things to put here. 💭Conflict Checks When a major conflict between our characters arise, I'd definitely like to check in at least halfway through to make sure you're still comfortable with the scene and that it's clear nothing being said by the character themself is to be taken personally. 💭NSFW DEFINITELY and I do mean, definitely, start an OOC dialogue with me before things get steamy. I may not be on the same page at all nor want the scene to go that way! |
