 【SERIAL DESIGNATION N】 Murder Drones - Canon Not exactly a leader, but definitely a fighter, N is a Murder Drone programmed with the intent to hunt and kill any of the civilian Worker Drones left on the arctic planet Copper 9, as ordered by their overlords, the human company JC Jenson. On contact with Worker Drone Uzi, however, N begins to understand that not everything is as simple as it seems, that his programming is flawed, and maybe... things could be better. With a lot less spilled oil and torn-off limbs, too!

Equipped with wings that can come out at will, N has the ability to traverse the skies and stay off the ground. ｛Nano Regeneration｝ If enough resources similar to the exoskeleton build of a Murder Drone is available, they can self heal their body against wounds that would otherwise be fatal, keeping them in the fight. N has been shown to have his head blown clean off and regenerate it within minutes, but this costs internal resources and the need for external materials that can be gathered automatically in a certain range. ｛Nano Weapons｝ Murder Drones have the unique ability to swap their hands for a unique set of weapons or tools as they desire. Because of the nature of their body, it is unknown just how weapons they can make appear instead of their hands (it swaps out the hand), but here is the current list of things N has been able to use: Chainsaws, automatic rifles, three-piece blade hands, katana, bubble blower, laser canon. It is likely these were programmed in. ｛Spaceship Pilot!｝ As a pilot, and if the machine is not advanced enough, N has the ability to learn how to fly a capable vessel for flight or space flight. He can integrate himself with the system to learn how something works if he has never seen it before. This likely wouldn't work on the high tech ones using their own AI--it would probably fight N's control. ｛Nanite Acid Tail｝ The tail that N has is almost like an injection. It is a big vial of nanite acid that can eat away and temporarily dismantle part of a drone's body. When using this ability on Uzi, it was shown to corrode Uzi's hand and coat it in acid, which took time to shake off and recover. It is not lethal, but extremely painful and debilitating. This does not work on organic tissue/matter, only robotics and so forth. {Space is A-Ok!} N is able to breathe in space, because he doesn't breathe in the first place. His drone body also never suffers critical errors or damage from being in space or falling back into orbit, showing the power and resilience of the material that he is made of. |

❖ Eye Color: Yellow ❖ Hair Color: White ▶ APPEARANCE Serial Designation N looks human enough... if you look past the entire robotic design. He's designed to look like a nineteen year old boy, with messy short white hair and a black pilot cap with the insignia of N's model. It's a skull wearing a hat, with two robotic wings on either side, in gold. Just above his hair is five yellow circles that keep his hat attached at all times. His body is pale white, shiny, smooth, with the black and yellow caution pattern on his wrists, and at his soles/feet. He always wears a dark trenchcoat with fluff around the neck, which goes down to his thighs. This trenchcoat is kept in place by a tight belt. A yellow armband is on his right arm, which has a code and emblem of the Murder Drones. Attached to his back is a thin black tail, save for the end of it, which is a yellow cylinder vial and a sharp knife-like needle. Both his legs and arms start out small, and then at the elbow/knee, expand to look more human and bulky. His face is humanlike, minus what classifies as his eyes, which is a digital black screen that lets him change his expression or signify when he is in the process of a reboot/loading sequence/fatal error code. His mouth stays pretty small unless he becomes ravenous, where it expands to more prominently show his sharp middle teeth. ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ THE HEART & MIND ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▶ WHO THEY ARE Initially a weapon of destruction, Serial Designation N was never exactly the shiniest tool in the arsenal of JC Jenson. Suffering constant demeaning and belittlement by his peers, Serial Designation J and Serial Designation V, he would often shrug this off and see it as them "looking out for him", believing they knew what was best for him. He was, in short, a joke to his peers. He wanted to win over the favor of others to prove himself, but even more than that, he wanted to feel like he actually belonged somewhere. Killing innocent drones was never really his style. He seems so used to this mistreatment that he never questions it and, in naivety, takes it on with little complaint. His true nature shines when he is in the company of others. Aloof and oblivious as he is, N is a very caring soul. He isn't fearless, but he's brave enough to face danger and refuses to run from it. He should be the one to sacrifice himself, not someone else. He can kill, but he doesn't want to, not after learning the truth of his programming and mission. He sides with the Worker Drones and is enabled by the sense of community that brings. It doesn't take many people to make him go from feeling like a loner to someone with a happy group of friends. Sometimes, it only takes one special person. Still, he is a bit of a dork, and he can be extremely random, but he's stopped doing what is ordered of him. He focuses on what he himself wants now... for the most part. He's the robot you can laugh with and feel vulnerable around while that robot keeps its own secrets and feelings deep down behind firewalls of code and confusion. ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎PERIL ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ▎ ❖Weaknesses ｛OIL IS FUEL｝ Murder Drones were created to be destructive and forced to run off of a powerful internal core, which process the advanced metals and nanotech inside them, as well as the self healing factor, weapons, and organic matter that makes up the heart, ribs, and part of the limbs. This internal core will cause a Murder Drone to overheat if they do not consume oil after a certain period of time, so it is a necessity. The only possible workaround is to prolong the need for fuel/oil by not using any abilities or suffering severe damages. ｛Protection｝ N puts others before himself, literally. There are multiple instances where N suffers fatal attacks and has to piece his body back together because he is trying to keep others from being in the line of fire. Guns, chainsaws, blades, eldritch AI horrors, whatever it is he is the one to try and save someone before himself from a fatal error. The more he does this, the worse his regeneration gets at being able to repair him without the proper care and healing time. He could get himself killed one day, for real this time. There's only so many times your limbs can be chopped off and oil spilled out! ｛FATAL ERROR｝ If too much damage is sustained, N's body shuts down, and he is unable to regenerate. This triggers the failsafe: the heart, the true centerpiece of any drone, activates. It is a tiny bio-metal creature inside every drone, and the drone dies without it. It is very easy to kill in this state, with no way to defend itself beyond the tiny little sharp legs it uses to move around. It has a single camera-like eye and a crappy little speaker to talk. The heart must return to the drone body if the body is to be able to repair itself. If an enemy does not want to deal with tearing open N's ribs to reach the heart, there is another way to trigger a Fatal Error or a forced reboot: viruses. Viruses can make N useless beyond being able to speak, unable to move the body. Another virus/trick, in the form of a sudden flash by a Sentinel Drone, triggers a forced reboot, where a Drone is shut down and cannot defend themselves, because the system is purging itself and resetting. {Emotional Compromise｝ When experiencing heightened emotions, N has been shown to be unable to summon the weapon he needs in a fight. For example: when having feelings of infatuation towards Uzi, his canon is unable to fire a beam of condensed energy and instead shoots out... harmless little pink hearts? Okay dude. This also works in the opposite way. If N's head is blown clean off, there is a non-zero chance he will experience amnesia and not remember the last three hours of his life when regenerating, and his systems get scrambled. {Weather Dependent} Living on Copper 9, the planet that has frozen over since the death of humanity, and the fact that the show entirely takes place at night, it can be assumed that Drones cannot be in places of intense heat, or they will fry immediately. This isn't an issue in space, where the coldness is below absolute zero, and despite this they have been shown to burn in contact with concentrated rays of the sun while still on a planet. 『THE JOURNEY』
❖ What is your character's home universe like? Is it still around or has it been Corrupted?
Copper 9 is a grueling, unforgiving place for humans and organic matter, and perfect for aging technology and robots. Copper 9 has seen many scars from within during the time of humanity and the time of the drones. It is safe, without corruption. A gateway tore into the planet, discovered by feedback from N's video log during a scouting mission back to the homebase of the WDF (Worker Defense Force), but aside from a split second of seeing a blinding cut of light tear into an old mining facility, distorting it, eating it, nobody knows where it is or what it looks like it. By now, it's likely even closed, the harsh, unlivable, and frozen conditions of the planet making it unfit to stay.
❖ How did your character get here?
N was on patrol (and hunting for lost memories) within an abandoned facility underneath the surface of Copper 9, when preparing to fly out and return home to Uzi and V, they were intercepted. Not by a person, but by this... strange glow. Something that seemed to warp the building N was flying out of. It collapsed on top of him, but he woke up not at all on the ice of Copper 9, but a Sanctuary of sorts. It's what it felt like, anyway.

Recently arrived. Disoriented, panicked, and confused, with no clue how to return home. About two days ago.
▶ Personal History & Lore
In Murder Drones: Landing on Copper 9, N's only task was to kill as many Worker Drones as possible, who had formed their own society over the course of decades without human oversight when an explosion of part of the planet core's caused a massive shift in the nature of Copper 9. It went from a decrepit, underground, dark, but livable environment to a barren ice wasteland. No organisms beyond anything that is a robot in nature were shown to have survived. This society, by the people who control the Murder Drones, was frowned upon. N had to cull that society of Worker Drones. But some Worker Drones didn't want to go quietly. Uzi Doorman, daughter of Khan Doorman, wanted to be the world's salvation and free everyone stuck in boring lectures with her from the tyranny of the Murder Drones. She builds a railgun and ventures outside for the first time to try and fight N, who was in the area at the same time, but things don't exactly turn out the right way. N is exposed to the lies of JC Jenson, his overseers, and realizes there isn't a need to slaughter innocents. N disobeys the company and joins forces with Uzi, feeling treated better and having more kinship with the worker drones than his murderous partners in crime, J and V. Uzi, after a battle with J and V, accidentally triggers the reawakening of an eldritch AI, the Absolute Solver. It consumes and tries to spread like an infection. Its host rapidly is approaching Copper 9, too, realizing another planet is out there to harvest. All bets are off when the planet is at risk of destruction from this new threat, so N, V, and Uzi work together to uncover the secrets of Copper 9 and the origins of not only the Absolute Solver, but themselves and their abilities.
Post-Ending of Murder Drones: Following [Like So Many Spoilers and I'd hate to ruin anyone's first watch of this show, trust me bro], N is a Murder Drone in design and name only. He lives with the other Worker Drones on Copper 9 and tries to live a normal life with Uzi, haunted by the events of his past and the reckonings that may still be yet to come. He puts his faith in his friends, and lover, to keep the peace. They want to rebuild their little society, expand, and learn to live again, fearless and eager for adventure. Sometimes, N still travels Copper 9's ruins of humanity, in pursuit of his own fractured memories. This would lead him to coming into contact with a strange gateway, not of this world, on complete accident. At this point, he seeks to become an Agent in the future, anything to better understand how to get back to Uzi again or defend this strange, new place. Ugh, Uzi must be worried sick...
