△ Intelligent, loyal, kind ▷ Self sacrificing ▽ Secretive, self-doubting, stubborn About Ena is a dragon laguz, a species of shapeshifters that can temporarily transform into powerful creatures, in her case a dragon. She's originally from the isolationist country of Goldoa, but traveled in search of her fiance, the firstborn prince Rajaion after he left and did not return. While searching for him in the country of Daein, she discovered Rajaion had been captured, brainwashed, and experimented on by Daein's king, Ashnard. In order to stay close to him while figuring out if rescue and recovery were possible, Ena pledged herself to Ashnard, and he made her the personal tactician to one of Daein's top generals, Petrine. After Petrine was killed, Ena was given command of the forces of the capital city and charged with defending it. Despite her other successes, Enna was defeated by the enemy army, and Ashnard ordered her killed as punishment. At the last moment, the leader of the army she'd just fought against, and her grandfather both stepped in and saved her life. Enna joined her former enemies in the fight against Daein, using her insider knowledge to lead them to important military targets. She fought with the army against King Ashnard, who rode a feral Rajaion as his mount. Ashnard was defeated, and Rajaion was killed in the process. She and her grandfather departed to return Rajaion's body to Goldoa for a proper burial once the war was over. Several years later, the continent would once again erupt in war, this time even greater than Ashnard's war. This awakened the goddesses Ashera and Yune, and Ashera began wiping all life from the continent as punishment for their warlike ways, while Yune attempted to stop her. Ena sought out her allies from the end of the first war, and they fought their way to Ashera with the help of Yune. Ashera was sealed away again, and Ena returned to Goldoa once more where she became an advisor to the new king until the world was faced with a new threat... History Ena comes from a medieval fantasy world populated by humans (called beorc), shapeshifters (called laguz), and a variety of fantasy creatures like pegasi and wyverns. It is recovering from a massive war between the nations of the continent of Tellius, one which nearly ended civilization by awakening a wrathful goddess. Unbeknownst to everyone, the chaos of the continent spanning war and conflict between goddesses created the conditions for Corruption to seep into the world and take root. Thankfully, the power of the reunited goddess Ashunera kept it from completely overtaking Tellius. Ashunera and the great warriors, leaders, and scholars of the world coordinate their response to the growing threat from the Tower of Guidance where she dwells. Ena arrived in Sanctuary several months ago after the AotM made contact with her world. She's joined them as an agent, using her skills with administration to work as a Steward while acting as a liaison between her home world and fellow agents.  ▲ Longevity Dragon laguz like Ena age very slowly. The oldest of them are over 800 years old. ▲ Boon Ena can cure those around her of minor poisons and diseases. Anything chronic, like a disability, is beyond her ability to cure, as are particularly deadly or esoteric conditions. Food poisoning, drunkenness, common toxins, the common cold, things on that level are cured by Boon. As a general rule, if it can be successfully treated and recovered from with a few day's rest, or an outpatient visit to your average doctor, Ena can treat it.This healing is magical in nature, takes effect immediately, and requires almost no effort from Ena. ▲ Renewal Ena regenerates from harm much faster than others, but not at a speed that is useful in immediate combat. Over the course of several hours she returns to perfect condition so long as she's still alive. ▲ Draconic Ena can shapeshift into a large reddish pink dragon with greatly enhanced strength, magic resistance, and durability. In her dragon form she can lift up to 20,000 lbs, and her scales are roughly the hardness of titanium. In this form she can fly short distances, and breathe blasts of forceful burning red energy. The red energy is more similar to a laser beam, not fire; it does not spread like fire, fireproofing does not protect against it, and metal does not act as a conductor for it. In addition, the breath of dragon laguz bypasses protection given by divine magic/blessings. ▲ Expertise Ena is an experienced and skilled tactician/military administrator capable of managing supply lines, doing inventory, and coming up with battle plans. ▼ Dragon Slaying Weapons and magic designed to kill dragons are particularly effective against her. ▼ Lightning All dragon laguz are vulnerable to electricity. Attacks using electricity to harm her are much, much deadlier regardless of which form she's in. ▼ Time Limit Maintaining her dragon form is incredibly draining. At most she might be able to keep it up for six hours if she's perfectly rested. Once she returns to her human form it takes anywhere from thirty minutes to four hours to be able to use it again. Thirty minutes is the minimum time period, for if she's only spent a few minutes in her draconic form and not had to do anything particularly strenuous. Four hours is how long it would take her to be able to transform again following a period of hours spent in her dragon form during high intensity battles. ▼ Slow Ena's dragon form is huge and bulky, it moves slowly, and struggles to dodge any attacks.  |
