Man, it had been a while since he had had a trainee. In part it was because Raz had been so busy with the influx of newcomers, both in a therapeutic and in a logistics capacity. With the sheer weight of his current work load, he had desperately needed to take a break. Several of the other members of the med and psych team had, actually, which, admittedly, had put a bit of an unfair strain on those who were left.
It couldn't be helped, though. There was only a handful of agents who were qualified to handle the mental health portion of the on-boarding process, and even less who had both the ability and the training to take care of the mind scans.
Speaking of, Raz hadn't personally been responsible for-- (heh)-- Raz's psyche evaluation, but he was both fascinated and horrified with what he had found out about the man. A wingless dragon... Not by evolution, but from some unknown-- at least, to him-- incident that had taken his wings from him. A birth defect? A fight? Had he lost them in an accident? He was curious to know how Raz had adapted. He was also smart enough not to actually ask.
Hm. They were going to have to do something about the name thing, weren't they?
"Agent Wright!" Raz greeted as he spotted the other agent. Raz had chosen a quiet little portion of the Day Wing's meditation garden for his purposes. It was a nice, calming environment-- perfect for acclimating potentially anxious newcomers to the ins and outs of their new lives. Not that Wright struck Raz as an individual particularly inclined to be nervous, but sometimes people hid that sort of thing deep, and it didn't hurt to make adjustments just in case.
Raz was seated on a levitation-ball in the corner of the garden-- a condensed sphere of psychic energy. To those who were psychic, or latent psychics at least, it would appear as a brightly colored sphere of orange-yellow light. Electric green energy crackled softly around it. To anyone else, it was still concentrated enough that it would be visible to the naked eye, albeit a faint and ghostly companion to its true self.
"Hey, another Raz, huh?" The lanky agent asked, grinning up at Raziel. He stuck out his long legs and stretched, balancing precariously on his seat. "That's actually a first, believe it or not. Maybe we should start a club!"

Admittedly, Raziel hadn't made much of a point to visit the Day Wing's Meditation Garden before this point. Yeah, he passed it on his way to and from the tower to do whatever tasks they had for a Security Trainee that day, but he hadn't really given it much thought. It was actually pretty nice in here... might even be a nice place to play some contemplative guitar every once in a while, although he supposed most people didn't want to be disturbed while 'meditating.' Ah well.
Hearing his name called out, Raz altered his course to meet the man who'd called him here today. And what was going on with this man? Raziel slowed down a bit when he saw that his mentor seemed to be floating on air... no, not quiet. Condensed something or other. Right. Psychic department. Neat trick. The second thing he noticed was just how long-limbed Agent Aquato was. If he had to guess, Raziel would say that Raz the Mentor was probably taller than him. And that was saying something.
"Agent Aquato," he greeted in turn. "Yeahhh, another Raz. First for me too. Don't know if it would be a very fun club though, heh." Agent Aquato hadn't extended a hand in greeting so Raziel didn't either, instead opting to sit on the nearest stone bench. "I hear through the grapevine that you're pretty busy these days, so between that and my not being very good at parties, it'd be a sad little club." He gave a rueful little laugh and carefully stretched out his back before leaned forward with his elbows resting on his knees.
"Seriously, Doc, if you've got better places to be, I wouldn't blame you. We can probably make this pretty quick." Yeah, Raziel had a few questions for Raz about job stuff, but it wasn't like he was one of the newbies from a less tech-savvy home world. He'd been figuring out the tech stuff pretty well, and while watching the Gates in the Omphalos lobby or town square in Sanctuary was often tedious, it gave him a good perspective on the kinds of folks moving through and a piece of the big picture of the reality at hand.
Besides, Agent Aquato was here as a mentor and not to be Raziel's shrink, so this definitely didn't need to take very long.
