After a stop at the (S)hell Station to top up Ol' Ruby's tank and pack away some snacks, Logan and Rori were quickly on their way once more, cruising down the highway at a steadily increasing speed. Perhaps going a little too fast, but who was around to rat them out at this time of night?
With the headlights keeping the road ahead illuminated, Rori tucks his aviators up onto his hat before reaching for the radio's dial - cranking the volume just in time for Rob Zombie's Dragula to come roaring through the speakers. Part of the playlist that he and Logan had collaborated on just for times like these.
"Oi, Gunny," Rori has to raise his voice above the music so that his brother could hear him, and he hikes the thumb up his prosthetic hand towards the back. "Mind poppin' a soda open fer me? OH, n' some o' those chips too. Flavor don't matter!"
The darkened, uneven silhouettes of trees went by merely as a blur as Ol' Ruby sped on faithfully. Up ahead, though, on the passenger side, a shape could be seen, moving down the road slowly...
