How To Create a Faction in Olmeid
HOUSE IDENTITY

Name
The name of the family acts as a last name.

Size of the house
Ranges from Emerging (smallest) to Minor, Major, and Great (Largest and most prestigious. However the size of the house can determine how many enemies the house has made. The larger the house, the more enemies they have made along the way. Emerging houses do not yet have enemies, minor houses have one enemy, major horses have two and great houses have three, up to five.

Race
For the most part the houses will be one singular race indigenous to Olmeid, however with the influx of outsiders, some clans and factions have formed together along multicultural lines.

Caste
Helps figure out where they fit in hierarchy and who they can or cannot mary, for now there are no Ali’i status castes. Some castes are much more fluid than others, while others are stuck.

How does the family rule itself and maintain a hierarchy if any?
Is it matrilineal, patriarchal, egalitarian or cut throat?
