Plot idea for the future as discussed in the other thread.
A year and a half works for me, so long as no one has any major objections!
I also have no scientific/medical background, no worries xD But this does sound like a super interesting concept! I'd love to hear some others' thoughts on the idea... Even if it doesn't end up being part of the overall group plot/events, you're totally free to use the idea for Coli/Aidan's reintroduction to the story, if you decide to bring him in 🖤
Thinking about a potential cure or vaccine is inevitable in an RP like this. But considering that everything has basically just started, I think a lot of time will pass before our characters even hear rumors of a vaccine being developed somewhere, possibly years, in my opinion. That kind of progress would require a lot of scientists working together, massive resources, advanced technology, proper infrastructure and proper facilities. Some scientists would have died, others turned into husks, and many would be scattered. The world would be in chaos for a while until humanity begins to adapt to the new way of life and starts focusing on something beyond pure survival. It’ll be a long process, but inevitably, we’ll get there. Realistically, it’s going to take a lot of time both IC and OOC, in my opinion. Most groups tend to become inactive after a while tho.
I can only speak from my character’s point of view, but his first instinct would definitely be to find a way to stop all of this. Still, it’s too early in the story for him to start seeking out contacts who might know whether something is being worked on.
That said, I’m sure we’ll find a way to bring your character’s brother into the RP. If you can share some information about him, like where he might be and what he’d be doing, we can brainstorm something fun together.
Oh absolutely! And again the idea is very rough and something for long term if we want to use it which could potentially involve a number of characters if we want with a type of idea where some kind of organization is trying to recruit or kidnap people with a scientific, medical background.

Hey, Jaemin Yun. I wanted to ask about how you'd prefer for Vladimir's group to encounter your character. Vladimir is currently with Tess and Adrian, then they'll go get Colibri and we can head to your character.
Rough action-packed plot idea for the future:
Dean's already at the farm.
Vladimir goes out to learn more about the husks, he is with his notebook where he'd be writing more about the husks (y'all have seen the notebook). He shares when he'll be back and his location. Dean knows that Vladimir is always on time (they already know each other, we've talked about it).
Vladimir is 3 days late.
Dean knows something is wrong. He rounds up those who are experienced in fighting to go investigate.
They stumble upon Vladimir's notebook on a street just outside of a tall building. There's new information about the husks with a recent date. The last thing written in the notebook is "Don't come inside the building!"
The building is packed with husks.
Vlad has barricaded himself in a room from where he threw his notebook on the street to be found by the others.
You go inside to search for him.
Hell gets loose.
Anyone up for it?

Adding: @Camila you’ll also note that Coli will have some knowledge of bows, arrow making and hunting, but Cam’s knowledge far surpasses her own. I would love for the two of them to get together at some point and discuss that.

Oooooh, that's a damn god idea! Yeah, we can have a plot where we could bring a husk corpse. Or... well... an alive one, if we're insane enough. Though do we have the facility and technology for lab work in the farm?
Edit: Btw, you'll also have Spencer, if he is okay with taking his blood for labwork and yeah... the sutff that doctors do,.

Not currently, but it could probably be done! Maybe a secure place to fo lab work could even be found outside the Farm somewhere [nearby]? That way Husk bodies/live Husks could be kept away from the survivors not working on them. Could also make for some fun "commute" to work lol, and isolate some characters for bandit/Husk attacks? Duties for survivors could also be split between the Farm and a potential lab (guards could get "lab duty" for the day lol, for one example)?

A-okay with Spence being a lab rat later for tests since his blood is full of the virus but not turning him into a Husk. Could have an immunity of sorts or a specific DNA marker that saved him basically. I’m open to ideas. 😊
