Hey, all. So, I've applied for the role of a leader and I feel like this role needs clear communication when it comes to leadership. I set up a page in Vlad's profile that's for this RP and I'll be copy/pasting it here, so you can get some sense of the guy. If, however, you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer, though as mentioned, I do keep some aspects of him "hidden"(like flaws and weaknesses), so my partners can uncover more about him through rp. I do feel like that's one of the fun things in an RP
"Before the threat of zombies happened, Vladimir was CIA Paramilitary Officer. His personality is routines are all shaped by his job and his experience on the job. Vladimir seems to be calm and collected, a stoic. Not a man of many words, but with many thoughts. He seems friendly to civilians, but unaproachable. His tactical mind, intelligence, and ability to make split-second decisions have helped him many times to keep himself alive and not fail his missions, remaining calm and calculating even and dire situations.
Due to his job, he is used to working alone. Even after he is no longer a Paramilitary Officer, thoughts that troubled his mind back then are still lingering in his consciousness.
“Who’s watching me?”
“Where’s my nearest exit?”
“Can I trust this source?”
“If this goes bad, no one is coming.”
He is a person to take responsibility for something and tries to do his job as best as possible. As a workaholic, you'll often see him work or go out in the world alone on a job he appointed to himself. The man can take risks, but calculated risks. He doesn't like chaos and will plan everything before heading out, expecting others to do the same - a life is the most valuable thing in this situation. A strong community is built on people, recklessness is not appreciated. Death can be a big hit on a self-sustaining community.
Due to his age, life experience, and job experience, Vladimir is a pretty wise guy. He will often offer advice, help or just try to calm or bring someone's spirit up.
What is known about Vladimir is his past profession, that he was divorced, and that his ex-wife and daughter died soon after the zombie outbreak happened where they lived in another state while he was traveling to get to them as fast as possible.
His biggest regret is not being around his family enough, and prioritizing his demanding job, which led to the divorce. He blames himself for what happened to his family.
Despite everything, Vladimir tries to stay strong and keep the community safe, often neglecting his own needs.
Other aspects of him will be know during the RP. I don't like to lay out everything in my RPs, I like to have some mystery and intrigue, making people wanting more and having fun."

Since my character isn’t specific to this rp, I’ll drop some background here.
Lucas was born and raised in South Dakota out on the Pine Ridge reservation. His growing up was quite a disaster, with plenty of abuse and substance issues surrounding him. Lucas was glad that his parents tried to shield him from the worst of it, but it was damn near impossible to avoid such things.
When he was ten, he had been in his uncles home during an armed standoff with the police. Lucas managed to sneak out of the house through a back window, but was soon shot at by his uncle. They were killed immediately afterwards. Through his adolescent years, he struggled to deal with the trauma from that ordeal, and began to get into trouble. Most of it was breaking into buildings to steal random items. Nothing of which was all that valuable.
Lucas finally decided to get his life together after a DUI arrest in Huntsville, Alabama, or so he thought. As he was dealing though his hangover in his bunk in the county jail, there was a loud commotion towards the front of the building. Shots and screams soon followed, followed by running.
One of the jailers tossed him a pair of keys through the cell window, and had told him to hide out for a while. The sight of a zombie tearing that man apart soon after was more than convincing enough.
Lucas spend his life searching for survivors ever since, finally finding the fortress he now resided at.

Not wanting to give everything away, and since she’s still a work in progress, being so new, Coli has been on her own for the past four months. I’m going to update her character bio and have her underweight at the moment. She has been separated from her brother for the past four months. I might like to introduce him later on and have a possible plot in mind, but I want to establish who and what Coli is, since she’s a new character I created a few days ago.
Coli originally comes from a well-off, middle-class family, with her father being a doctor and her mother a children’s author and illustrator, originally from France, who met and married Coli’s father and moved back to the United States with him. Coli is the youngest of fraternal twins. They both grew up with a lot of love and exposure to the outdoors and sports, but Aidan was the more focused of the two and the apple of their father’s eye, with a desire to pursue a career in sports medicine.
Coli loved everything and spread herself thin, something she’ll still be prone to do. She thought she had finally found her outlet and pursued outdoor and sports recreation at the University of North Alabama, just like her twin. They were on their way back to university with Aidan’s then-girlfriend at the time when the world went to heck.
Aidan and Coli had been separated for four months, and Coli had been trying to survive on her own. She’s avoided trusting or going near other people since the events that took Aidan’s late girlfriend’s life.
I'm also brainstorming as I’m writing this, so nothing is completely set in stone for the moment.
She would meet up with Vladimir’s group, if that’s all right with everyone.
