Yo, thank you.
And in answer to your question, absolutely they can.
Copper knifes for example, or copper coated bullets.
Perhaps aerosolised frankincense.
At that time you would have had weapons like the Enfield MK1 and MK11 revolvers, Lee Metford Rifle and the Webbly 1887.

          Welcome Flora !!!
In answer to your question Mystics are more like prophets or people haunted by ghosts than they are magical.
They see portents of the future, in tea leaves, in bones, in cards and simply in their minds eye in visions and whispers.
The dead whisper to them as well, though only ever the dead of the dark touched. These tell them secrets but they cannot do them harm as mystics are immune to the dangers of creatures beyond the veil, they can call upon them though, bring the dead into a room, ask them to interact with things, they cannot force them but the dead are restless are more likely to do their bidding interfering with the living.

They can also banish these ghostly entities with will alone, force visions into others, Enter the minds of weaker willed and read surface thoughts. (3 and below).
In terms of what it costs them, I don't yet have a hard and fast rule for that but if you want to come up with one I would be more than happy to go over it.

Thank you my dear!
Awesome! Sounds good! My initial thoughts would just be mental and/or physical exhaustion with specifics and severity depending on what was done! But happy to explore that further as more people join and we have potential other mystics!
I think that sounds fair and perhaps is something we could apply across all the Race templates ?!
What do people think ??
Also if there is someone you think is a good Rp-er who does well or might do well in a group setting and join in the overarching story with others let me know, i am happy for you to pass the message on.

Unfortunately, the only actual RP I've been a part of so far is The Apocalypse lol, so I don't have anyone to suggest at this time!
Thats okay, people will trickle in over time as friends of friends slowly join.

Exciting! Think this is gonna be a really fun one! Seems like you put a lot of effort into all the fun lore!
Yo, I'm back and soon I'll be setting up Vlad for the RP. I'd write to you Val about his stats and some gadgets/weapons he might have to see if it's possible. Nothing OP tho.
Other than that, I've already have a pretty good idea on his background story with the gorgeous Saanvi and soon I'd be able to do some nice side quest around London
Edit: I feel like I'll get Vlad sick at some point
When that happens his stats will be dropping. I think it will be fun, I hope you're okay with characters dying if it comes to this as I want to play him in a more darkish realistic way. If that happens, I'll bring another character. But if you guys are not comfortable with this, I won't do it, cause I know it can be disappointing to those who are somehow connected to said character.

❤️💅
I'm personally comfortable with that!
Aight. Vlad is done. Can we perhaps open an RP? Maybe nothing that will involve the main story, but to get something going.
Val, are those items alright for Vlad?:
"Vlad also wears leather gloves, the knuckles of which are reinforced with copper. He carries a knife and two Webley RIC revolvers - one holstered for copper rounds on his left side, and another loaded with standard ammunition on his right."
I'd imagine copper rounds are quite expensive and hard to make, so he won't have a lot and would have to think twice before using them.

If you are imagining that for the sake of balance and fun storytelling please disregard my entire message lmao, BUT the 1890's is the peak of copper mining/refining/production in England, and jacketed ammunition technology came about in the early 1880's, so at least historically you are in probably the best place in the world for the time to get your hands on ample amounts of supernatural freak killing bullets!

Hah, yeah, but it will still be costly due to how labor-intensive and mechanically tricky for the guns of the day is. I won't go full nerd mode about the details, but it's basically more difficult than lead xD Which is good, cause it gives us balance.
Hello all, just wanted to apologise for the delay in getting back to everyone, I have been under the weather this week but will get replies out soon. Happy to start ASAP let me just go over item lists etc

Sorry you've been unwell!
Vlad your weapons are perfect and Flora is 100% right about the rounds of the day so absolutely doable and perhaps how he funds it is something to play out.
Also I am happy with characters deaths so long as the person whose Character it is is happy with that. That being said I will stick a little starter in the Demi-Monde but feel free to kick of somewhere else if you want to play something out. The idea is people will eventually be drawn to that location and then move back out into the city.

Cool, awesome, then Vlad is ready. I'll start something so I have the chance to get familiar a bit more with Saanvi and have some sort of dynamic going. Probably it will be a case that got Saanvi's attention and would need to drag out Vlad from the bar
Val, you can come anytime although the bar Vlad drinks in is not some posh place. Quite the opposite.
