as a barista, hangs out on new versailles university campus most days on shift. he bakes quite a few of the pastries that they sell there but is also known to be something of the cafe clutz.
he is always looking for things to nab, even in broad daylight. doesn't matter who it's from (or how scary someone looks), he's either very brave or very dumb when it comes to his kleptomania.
drawn like a moth to a flame to anything magical. the stronger the magic, the more he is pulled. sometimes so much that he ends up making a huge fool of himself or tripping over his words to find a reason to be so close.
he amplifies the energies of people around him (without his consent or intervention) while simultaneously draining himself of energy -- it tends to make him appear incredibly introverted. more often than not, though, he actually would prefer to be around people.
could be an interesting plot point to all those witches out there.
you know, suddenly being more powerful than you were 30 seconds
ago because the village clutz spilled something on you.
anything small and fluffy is pretty much liable to be hugged and kissed with or without permission by whoever owns it. he's been known to stop mid-sentence to give puppy kisses. and, in return, some animals can even sense his animalistic nature.

⇴ witches/magic - he's drawn to it instinctively and can amplify it simply by being nearby. whether this is a good or a bad thing is neither here nor there - caiden is just the sort to get into trouble. ⇴ magic things - he'll be happy to take items off your hands - with or without permission! he's a kleptomaniac that doesn't have any real use for the things he steals, he just knows that he has to steal. ⇴ other familiars - he's never met another familiar before and i'm sure it would be a delightful experience all around. ⇴ past encounters - from people that perhaps interacted with his previous witch to hunters and people after his magic amplifying properties, i'm sure he's met quite a few people along the way! ⇴ anything else? can caiden fill a plot of yours? pm me! |

a vicious cycle of stealing the same useless (albeit shiny) piece of junk from each other over and over again until eventually one of them loses it and they both end up sad. ;] it sounds delightful.
