• Description

  Olamir is a lithe, muscular half-orc, standing well over six and a half feet tall. He has dull olive mottled skin covered in nicks and scars.
  
  His eyes are red and his hair a dull brown. He wears his hair long (waist length), matted into natural dreadlocks and tangles and threaded through with feathers and shell beads.
  He keeps it out of his face by way of a simple cloth bandanna/headband.
  
  One ear is badly torn and damaged, the other is sharply pointed. He has pierced ears that are decorated with thorns.
  
  His face is broad, his chin cleft and his nose wide and flat. He has small tusks and full lips. He has a small scar across his nose and cheek.
  
  He has a scruffy but short beard.
  
  Abstract patterns are tattooed symmetrically across his face, a wave pattern on his left shoulder and down the arm.
  
  He dresses in a scruffy wild manner befitting a coastal druid. A lot of shells and pebbles, the teeth of sharks and fishbones serve as simple, primitive jewellery.

• Personality

  Olamir likes his own company, he finds other people complicate matters rapidly. He’s used to a hermit lifestyle, doing what he wants, when he wants, so bowing to other’s demands isn’t something he takes naturally to.
  
  He’s uncomfortable in urban expanses and likes the sky overhead and soft ground under foot, he doesn’t like cities at all and would sooner avoid them if he could.
  
  Despite his reluctance to travel with companions, he is sensible enough to understand when he needs help and when companionship would be of benefit.
  
  He’s not overly talkative, but he is honest. He can’t see the point in lying as he’s certain he has nothing to hide. He assumes others are the same and can be a little too trusting.
  
  He is always ready to help someone in need, as a healer he feels it’s his duty. He’ll make the effort to save a stranger without expecting anything in return, he reasons that he owes his life to the kindness of a stranger, so how could he do anything else?
  
  He believes everyone has some worth, some purpose. His childhood was spent finding alternate ways to best his far stronger peers. He couldn’t fight them hand to hand, so he developed a different approach. He used his wits to outsmart them instead, leaving him with a lasting belief that there’s more than one way to solve a problem. Just because someone isn’t good at one thing, doesn’t mean they aren’t good at something else.

• History

  Olamir's mother was an orc, his father a human scientist who decided to live amongst the Orcs to better understand their culture.
  
  When he was around 10 the tribe was attacked and the survivors taken into chains to be sold as slaves on distant shores. Storms hit. Shipwrecked on a small island, he was raised by the Druidic hermit who had made the place home.
