• From: Croydon, London. Originally from the East End, though his family moved when he was little.
• Accent: Cockney, though he's picked up some Scouse slang because of Pax. Voice is fairly high-pitched, semi wobbly and cracking. His singing voice is similar.

• Age: 30, birthday: May 19, 1989. Definitely doesn't act his age, though, and (because of that?) he looks younger than he really is.
• Occupation: Bassist for punk band Ferry 'Cross the Mersey, and former part-time foreign exchange student at NVU. Gives music lessons in his spare time for the instruments he plays.
• Appearance: A little messy and disheveled in a punk sort of way, but expressive, in both facial expressions (those big eyebrows help), and clothing, especially with the bright colors (mostly his shoes/socks). He has a somewhat dopey, carefree, toothy smile, and crooked teeth- he could use some braces.
• Body Type: Lanky- long limbed. Sort of like the whole 'skinny little white boy'. Bruises and gets hurt fairly easily.
• Height: 5'11 1/2, though looks taller because he's lanky.
• Weight: ~140 lbs.
• Hair: Changes based on mood. Normally blue, sometimes purple or orange.
• Clothing: Normally jeans, tshirts with (seemingly?) random words on them of varying colors, and some sort of converse with occasionally crazy socks. Sometimes boots, or accessories like sunglasses, hats, or studded bracelets. • Personality: Happy, childlike, has a deep passion for music. Loves having fun. Kind, optimistic, but a bit slow- he doesn't get offended easily because usually he doesn't understand that he's being insulted. Thinks the best of people. Loyal, gullible, can get confused easily. Submissive, especially with the right people; a follower, easily manipulated. Tolerant of others, but doesn't like to see people hurting. Definitely isn't quick to throw punches- he'd rather take a beating than deal one out.
• Quirks: A little jumpy, messy, heavy sleeper, not a morning person, slow reader, has dyslexia/adhd (undiagnosed), smokes, drinks, does recreatonal drugs, scratches his head or bites his lip when he's unsure of something/nervous. Tends to spaceout/stare with a bit of a blank look on his face.
• Music Tastes: Varied- he at least appreciates most kinds. He especially likes (classic) punk and oi, grunge, ska, and some indie, but also listens to things like jazz and hiphop. He doesn't like manufactured music, though, finding it empty and soulless.

• Dislikes: School (except for his music classes). Has a fear of big dogs (reinforced because of Victoria), hippos (thanks to a nature special) and alligators/crocodiles (thanks to living in NV).

Background

He grew up in a low-to-middleclass family in the East End of London before moving to Croydon at the start of secondary school when he was eleven, because, as he puts it, "Me mum an' dad woz yellin' a lo'". Hack got low-to-average marks in all the normal classes at school, except for the classes that he actually enjoyed (music classes like band), where he did a little better. He kept his head down and did his work, but especially upon moving schools and areas, he suffered from some bullying. He was softspoken, a bit of pushover, and not the brightest. He also looked and sounded kind of funny: big eyebrows, awkwardly lanky, a heavy Cockney accent mixed with his already odd-sounding voice. On top of that, his uniforms were always dingy, patched, and dirty; his mother didn't have the money to keep up with their repairs. Partially because of the resulting bullying, he quickly fell in (<- just a ref!) with Scooter and Mickey, and their friends, and they not only pretty much got rid of his bullying problem, but they also helped him to come out of his shell.

He met Pax on a trip up to Liverpool on holiday with Scooter when he was in his really early teens, and the scouser taught him even more about the ways of the world- smoking, drinking, girls. But most influentially Pax taught him about music, and showed him how to play the guitar; Hack later used those skills when he moved on to bass. Outsiders looking in on his friends from back home might perceive them to be somewhat abusive- often making him the butt of their jokes, calling him names, and just being mean. But he either doesn't notice it, or doesn't consider their treatment to be bad.

He (barely) graduated and moved onto University at behest of his mom, who wanted him to do something more practical with his life, other than working minimum wage jobs and being in random bands. When offered the chance to study in the United States, he took it, and currently he’s a foreign exchange student to New Versailles University, studying music.

In his time in New Versailles he’s met a lot of awesome people, and is taking classes at NVU (and tutoring his butt off). Pax is now in town -they've formed the punk band Ferry 'Cross the Mersey- and after needing another member, Scooter came over from London to play. Currently the band is living in a one-bedroom apartment in Riverside, playing gigs, especially at the Creepy Crawl.
