Bio

Magnus is a semi-professional bodybuilder who trains Pokemon on the side. He sticks to tough-looking Pokemon who favor attack over speed or special abilities. He's all about raw power and the perfect looks to go with it, making him and his Pokemon perfect contestants for skill contests.

Magnus is a very honest person. While he isn't afraid of telling a little white lie here and there, he refuses to gain things unjustly. Things like stealing and manipulation rub him the wrong way. This even boils down to really insignificant things like fake tans. He doesn't like receiving handouts, and believes that anyone can achieve anything if they try hard enough. Due to his childhood experiences, he will go to great lengths to stop bullies.

One day he hopes to open his own gym where both Pokemon and humans can train together. Magnus has some lofty dreams for the place that involve rigorous entry exams, the finest weightlifting equipment available, and an excellent paint job. He's currently raising the money for the gym by winning battles and competitions (for both himself and his Pokemon), but it's hard to keep money around with all that Protein to buy ...

Appearance

Magnus' impressive upper body is his most eyecatching feature. He spends countless hours maintaining and defining his awesome abs, perfect pecs, bulging biceps, and destructive delts, and twice as much time lounging in tanning salons or on the beach to keep them a dark shade of bronze. (And yes, he does his laundry quite often.) The rest of his waking time is spent chowing down (you need a lot of food to maintain a body like that) and actually training his Pokemon, who he loves more than he'd ever let on.

Magnus knows he looks good and makes sure everyone else does, too. He has sparkling teal eyes that he thinks get him almost as many looks as his impressive build does, though they're often hidden behind expensive sunglasses. His blonde hair is kept reasonably short except for two bangs that stick out from under a red bandanna.

He smells strongly of body spray. (Maybe a little too strongly.) He isn't covering up any underlying stank--he just thinks it's his duty as a bro to wear as much of the stuff as possible. Since he generally just wears his hair in a bandanna, he doesn't bother spiking it with hair gel ...

Outfits

Normal Outfit. This outfit consists of a pristine white muscle shirt with red trim, black cutoffs, and a red bandanna with a white Pokeball insignia on it. He also wears fingerless lifting gloves, sneakers, shades, and a gold chain.

Beachwear. A simple red Speedo with a white Pokeball insignia is all he wears--other than his golden chain and shades, of course. He usually carries his bag and a white towel, and can sometimes be found wearing red flip-flops. (The sand can get mighty hot, after all.)

Formal Attire. It isn't often that Magnus gets an excuse to wear this crisp white tuxedo (with matching white flats). He lords it up when he does. He often packs an extra fashion punch with his quintessential shades and gold chain.

Gym Clothes. His gym clothes aren't much to look at. A tight white shirt with long red sleeves clings to his upper body, and baggy shorts hang well past his knees. He wears the proper equipment as well--padded half-finger weightlifting gloves to protect his palms from callouses, a red sweatband, and a belt for when he does squats or deadlifts. His usual shades have no place in the gym, but he still wears his chain.
