  Isadora is not someone who does things by halves. If a job is worth doing it's worth doing right and it will be done right. Everything from the modifications of her bioship to the clothes she wears is carefully co-ordinated to give her the precision and perfection she craves. Image is everything if you want to be somebody and as such she makes sure to keep herself above the norm to stand out proud and center. Her body language and mannerisms are pruned precisely to fit the situation or job required. Need a fancy mineral baron's naive daughter? No problem. A high-class escort? Yep. If it's within her repertoire, she'll spin it.
  
  This doesn't mean that any of these are entirely deceptive masks however. Isadora may wear them situationally but she believes whole heartedly that each and every act is a facet of herself that she simply fronts depending on the task at hand.
  
  The genuine, relaxed Isadora is a very passionate individual. When she can relax around someone you find a woman who throws herself into all of her hobbies or interests. Board games, clothes-making, theater and painting are just some of her favourite things. Cooking is a close second but only when she's able to entertain more people than just herself. You never know what you'll be doing each day with Isa as one moment you might be working on a jigsaw and then the following day you'll be swept off to broadway to get a look at what's on and what's coming up,
  or to the latest boutiques to get a beat on fashion.
  
  As a lover and a friend, for Isa the two are interchangeable at any given moment as she can't really distinguish them,
  she's just as intense and fiery. If you're in her circle of close people (or aliens) it's a ride of excited babble, passionate sex and nights spent watching soap operas or fashion reviews complete with Isa's own brand of commentary. Though she will cuddle and fuss it's not what Isadora typically does because that would be doing nothing for too long.
  
  On the flipside, all of this manic energy makes it hard to focus sometimes. She has to force herself to keep on track,
  often with the help of Bellerophon who makes notes and will soothe her overstimulated brain. If she has a list of things to do she has to write it down or have Bellero remind her of what to do and the order to do it in or something else will take it's place. Occasionally she overwhelms herself and when that happens she needs to take an hour or two to just de-stress, huddle in a blanket or cuddle someone until her brain re-orients itself right side up.
  
  Being passionate about things also means she can snap and become quite vicious when her routines or her plans are interrupted, altered or otherwise made impossible by things out of her control. Many a time she's snapped at friends and co-workers and even Bellero when things have gone awry.
  
  Her inability to distinguish or determine love can also strain her relationships with people close to her. She hasn't ever really considered herself anyone's lover and whenever she tries, it always ends up including more than one person in her tight group at the time. Trying to pin Isadora into a monogamous lifestyle is difficult at best as she loves the people close to her too much to close them out by rendering herself exclusive to just one person. Though her friend circles often change like the tides with her moving so often the problem persists, which is why when people begin talking about mine makes her nervous. Isadora is her own and will give herself as she pleases.

• History

  Isadora was born on a mining outpost station on the Spar to a typically large family. The Maracanaú Station was populated largely by Hispanic/Latin American colonists who broke away from the North American initiatives at least three hundred years prior.
  
  Funded by mineral barons and the promise of almost unending profits from the local system and it's wealth of resources Maracanaú was built over five years and was already populated two years before it's official completion.
  50 years into it's life problems began to rise when the mining operations on nearby planets started running into difficulties; though the precious metals, gemstones and gasses they needed were more common, the environments and rock they needed to dig through were unforgiving and tough. Production slowly ground to a halt as it started to get more expensive to run mining operations than it was worth. This forced the station to turn to other means and soon it converted itself into a trading outpost and a hub for bounty hunters and their associated gangs.
  
  This was the environment into which Isadora was born. Though her family weren't the most well off, like many families on the station, they made do with what they had; her father repairing mechanical systems or making odds and ends and her mother making and selling clothes. Her grandparents often took on the job of rearing Isa and her four other siblings with her two aunts and uncle lending a hand when they could. All in all it was a very pleasant start to life until about the age of ten.
  
  It was a month after her tenth birthday that she lost her father to an accident at work and it meant that she and her siblings had to help out more often as their family began to struggle more and more. By the time she hit her early teens Isadora was more often than not skipping out on classes she didn't think she needed to go and earn extra money. Her methods were never consistent as she hopped between selling homemade candies to tourists or other kids, repairing clothes, conning visitors out of their loose change or just downright pick-pocketing. After being caught twice however she soon learned to be more covert and improved her acts to perfection.
  
  At the age of 15 was when the station's brittle economy slowly began to cave in on itself. Too many families unable to leave Maracanaú and too few jobs to support them resulted in riots over healthcare, food and safety concerns that quickly gave way to gangs taking over as they promised the people what they needed. Once the mining corporations who owned the station removed their staff, the gangs took over and things improved for a short while until rivalries,
  betrayal and selfishness took hold.
  
  At 17 the station descended into what amounted to Martial Law as it turned into every person for themself.
  Some families formed small groups to keep themselves safe from raiders or just outright sadists intent on culling the population; scraping by on the little that could be grown in hand-made farms carved into the rock the station was built on. Small riots broke out when ever food or water was delivered and often it was only distributed amongst the higher ranks, leaving the general population to suffer and starve. Isadora made a name for herself smuggling necessities to the various communities around the station in exchange for either money or other supplies because the goodness of her own heart didn't keep her, her family or her group fed, watered or clothed.
  
  The temptation to join a gang proved too strong and when she was 18 she was inducted into the Preto Presas (Black Fangs), one of the more prominant groups. This way she could at least guarantee her little family and their commune some safety as she worked her way up through their ranks. It was here she learned how to put on her many masks and how to never half-ass a job or her presentation as quite often she could easily intimidate people into giving her what she wanted.
  
  By the time she was 20 and thought that the station had finally reached an equilibrium it was thrown into chaos once more when a new smuggling ring decided to take up residence and throw off the carefully orchestrated balance of groups within. At some point during the spate of firefights that followed the station was plunged into even more chaos when someone decided to sever the power grid and plunge it into darkness. What followed was a week of panic and terror as people scrambled for light, oxygen and warmth on top of their already minimal resources. The gangs, smugglers and even the communes began to break apart as people were pushed well beyond their limits and that was when Isadora, even if it broke her heart, decided she was leaving.
  
  Escaping on a small tug ship that was left in the hangar and that she'd spent a week or two repairing and slowly refueling, Isa managed to leave the station and make a single jump to the nearest cluster. Once there she used what little she had on her (cash, drugs, a few choice gems stashed from more prosperous times) to buy herself a studio apartment and begin to get her feet on the ground again.
  
  Two weeks later the Maracanaú succumbed to a full meltdown of it's nuclear core.
  
  Isadora's life after she set up on a little seed world varies depending on who's hearing the story. In some she earned her living as a seamstress, in others she was an escort and in a few she became a tyrant; taking over a local mob to seize some sort of safetynet to keep her afloat. It was during the first few years she managed to get her hands on the bioship Bellerophon who turned out to be a blessing in disguise as having her own ship meant travel. And travel meant more job opportunities, more money, more life experiences.
  
  It was during these years spent drifting through space she slowly earned her badges as a top-rate bounty hunter and also acquired her curious mage skills. How and why isn't exactly known but she will always tell the curious how hard it was and how worth it it was too.
