Eager, playful and maybe a little overconfident, Pulsemon is a bundle of energy with a fondness for physical activity. They are generally good-natured, though can be a little self-centred at times, but generally do their best not to disadvantage others.

Pulsemon isn't the most tactical of fighters, not really being either cerebral or martially disciplined. That being said, they aren't exactly powerless, with each of their forms having their own advantages. In their later evolutions, however, Pulsemon's personality goes through enough of a shift that their more reckless and overly eager style is replaced with a more considered and skilful one.

One of this particular pulsemon's most notable personality features is how their behaviour shifts as they evolve. Whilst they retain the same memories, bonds and experiences, they more or less become a different person - though through a continuous unchanged consciousness. As Dokimon, they can be clueless and curious. As Bibimon, they are headstrong and boisterous. As pulsemon, they are energetic and playful. As Bulkmon, they are aggressive and confident. As Toramon, they are protective and dutiful. And as Zeraoramon, they are laid back and cocky.

Another notable aspect of Pulsemon is that each of its evolutions beyond its child/rookie form all still have a specific use regardless of what Pulsemon can achieve. Bulkmon's physical strength for instance. Or Toramon's ability to stun opponents. Or Zeraoramon's overall power.

Pulsemon doesn't really understand gender as a concept, and thus doesn't really care how they are referred. That being said, they do see themselves outside of the binary spectrum.
