    The woman transformed into a vision of refinement. Long curls had been braided and pearled up from the face to frame delicate features and dancing sea green eyes. An orchid velvet gown caressed the dancers frame silhouetting the shapely curves to flair at the hips and spin a full circle of rich fabric to the floor. The sleeves were split before the elbow showing off a fine silk chemise pearled along the sleeves and richly embroidered. Dark lips held a subtle pout as the noblewoman watched the tedium of the world about her. At her hip hung a gold-worked belt and a jeweled dagger. The cloak on her arm showed the crest of Desdicara. An unadorned silk ribbon hung against her throat.
