❯➤ Originally hailing in Oreburgh City, Roark's father Byron bestowed Roark leadership over the Oreburgh Gym after accepting to become the new gym leader for the Canalave Gym. Still, Roark wasn't handed the leadership so easily, instead being the last choice to Byron. Although family, Byron makes it clear that he only cares about two things, digging up fossils and battling - two things he taunts Roark about. That said, despite their similar interests, neither get along due to their stubborn opinions of each other. Known as a Rock type specialist, Roark is well-versed in Rock types with a passion in paleontology, the study of fossilized animals and plants. Additionally, Roark has an interest in archaic arts and ancient civilizations. Although usually calm-tempered and firm-natured fellow, when Roark is given a chance to speak about paleontology, the redhead is quick to get highly animated about numerous studies and theories. ❯➤ Roark's familiarized with mines of Oreburgh looking for fossils, studying, and theorizing on the environment of the ancient world. While many only think Roark only cares about pokémon fossils, she's just as mesmerized to find evidences of human fossils along with the remains of archaic societies and the curious questions of what caused these societies to fall into ruins and got forgotten. With permission, trainers can access mines as they please in order to mine out evolution stones and fossils, and just as it is, YC and Roark meet under the mines when a rock slide traps the two with a cave-in. Naturally, Roark and YC are stuck inside waiting for help to arrive.❱❱❱━━━━━━━━➤ PROMPT 03：UNOWN TRAVELS
❯➤ When Roark receives a travel opportunity outside of Sinnoh, he is given the opportunity to check out various archaeological sites. That said, as Roark goes out and about to lend some assistance on an ancient site, he finds it hinted to have connections with the Pokémon Unown. Taking the chance to venture out in the ruins, just as Roark is busied with field research, the Unown hidden throughout the ruins have other plans. Spirited away from their original world by the Unown, YC is transcended to the vast world of Pokémon and left with a strange gift by the Unown. All seems confusing with no person in sight until YC runs into Roark, who is just as confused. Does YC explain the truth, or fake it out?❱❱❱━━━━━━━━➤ PROMPT 04：GENDER TRANSFORMATION
❯➤ Male or female, I think Roark looks cute as both. So there are quite some scenarios for Roark's gender and I can play both with ease. While I do like Roark♀️, don't expect a cutesy, high-femme Roark♀️ as I prefer a tomboy Roark♀️ that's often being mistaken as a boy. Boy or girl, Roark will won't have the best family relationship with Byron though some reasons as to why may differ due to the gender differences. By preference, I think Roark♀️ with small breasts is cuter, but big breasts are still good too!❱❱❱━━━━━━━━➤ PROMPT 05：TOMBOY TRAINER
❯➤ A Roark♀️ Plot. The idea of a tomboy!Roark is cute to me, and in such a situation regarding her, I can see Byron being a single dad raising Roark on his own and she growing up to be a rough and tumble girl much to her dad's displeasure. She's rather a boyish son than a delicate daughter. Naturally, their relationship isn't any better when Byron insists on passing down the Oreburgh Gym to Riley instead of Roark, so she tries to distance herself from her father so that her merits are her own that of her Byron's legacy. She doesn't want her reputation being just the daughter of the Canalave Gym Leader Byron, but uniquely her own identity. She does in fact get a reputation but it's to her own disservice as it's neither about her achievements as a gym leader or paleontologist, but due to that fact that she's far too manly a girl with strong arms and shoulders and always wearing boy clothes. ❯➤ I love character depth and exploration - and if it wasn't noticed before, this is a canon-divergent tweaking of Roark's character in the series. Sex is all good, but I'm entirely biased for a damn well-planned out narrative, and most often than not, I just really appreciate the build-up between characters.
❯➤ I don't do tournament-style roleplays - there's just often lots of godmodding, auto'ing, and OOC fighting that it's just annoying to me. That doesn't mean I won't involve a good battle scene or so, just don't expect it to be the core-theme of the roleplay. I love some good comedic misunderstandings or scenes - they're fun and playful both IC and OOC.
