A Mere Hobo

    There once was a hobo who took down an army of killer robots.

    Drifters and vagabonds in the United States do not believe the tall tale spun by this humble man. But the drifter says it's true. "Where's your robot-killin' sword?" they usually ask. "I gave it to a bigfoot," the drifter replies, and even he's not sure if that person really was a bigfoot at all.

    Such is night life around the campfire of a hobo reprieve. Vagrants share stories of once-in-a-lifetime experiences and recount encounters with notable denizens. Sometimes, a conspiracy theory or a vivid retelling of a paranormal encounter slips through.

    How these people did not hear through the mainstream press that the West Coast was publicly ravaged by a vengeful high schooler and his robot army, Sedgwick cannot comprehend.
