    Tarscale is a dracthyr of the Dark Talons weyrn militia. As an Evoker, she is highly skilled at commanding the magic of the five prime Aspects. As a Skald, she is an inspiring storyteller capable of raising the spirits of her allies both on and off the battlefield.

    Tarscale's scales are green with a black diffusion toward her posterior, from the tip of her nose to the tip of her spaded tail. The scales around her face and forearms are pock-marked and often scabby. She has many spiky features, including a jawline of thorns, cranial horns that curve like thunderbolts, and a sharp spike at the tip of her snout.

  • Personality & Demeanor

    Tarscale is an optimistic and encouraging presence. She uses her knowledge of legends - and a bit of her imagination - to inspire her allies or threaten foes. Tarscale is receptive to social hierarchies and always treats new acquaintances with politeness and respect.

    She's highly confident in her abilities, both magical and acrobatic, and can be a bit of a show-off. In between her adventures, Tarscale makes journeys across Azeroth in the role of skald, keen to hear tales from the heroes she encounters abroad and share legends of antiquity.

    Even since learning the circumstances of the dracthyrs’ existence, Tarscale remains faithful to the Aspects. To her, they are reverent beings on par with the Titan Keepers.

  • Garments & Armour

    Tarscale's equipment often appears tarnished, whether by time or by action in the field of battle is hard to discern. Her collection of armor is a mix of ancient draconic craft and newer pieces forged by the hands of Azeroth's modern denizens. She often dons a pair of pauldrons that she had forged from the scales and bones of many Primalist tarasek felled by her talons at the Battle of Southgate Hold.

    Her horn signet has been fitted into the center of her belt buckle and is engraved with her name and weyrn rank. Alongside the buckle, a draconic warhorn hangs at her hip.

    Tarscale was among those dracthyr that survived the initial assault on the creches of the Forbidden Reach, and she made the journey to Kalimdor alongside the soon-to-be Black Aspect Ebyssian and Scalecommander Cindrethresh.

    To fulfill her ancient dracthyrian duty as a protector of Azeroth, Tarscale returned to the Dragon Isles in the company of the Violet Vanguard: a diverse collective of heroes and mercenaries with whom she shared common goals. Together in their ranks she served on many campaigns against Primalists, Sundered Flame rebels, malevolent Infinite dragonkin, and the blazebound coalition in service of Fyrakk the Blazing.

    Like all dracthyr, Tarscale’s life began during the War of the Scaleborn. On the caldera islands of the Reach, she was raised under the command of the Black Dragonflight. She has always been part of the fierce Dark Talons, sharing comradery and creche barracks with their weyrn neighbours - the Obsidian Warders.

    A strong control of Aspectral magic and killer instincts sent Tarscale climbing through dracthyrian ranks, right up to the elite position of Evoker.

    Tarscale’s deviation from the direct authority of Neltharion’s Oathbinder manifested as an insatiable fascination with stories. She took any opportunity to recite a legend or anecdote both on and off the battlefield. While some of her stories were based in truth, many others were embellished imaginings of the world beyond the Reach. Tarscale was frequently reprimanded for getting carried away in front of drill-weary audiences within the war creche mess hall.
