Appearance:
Wai is a songbird-sized mutant, appearing mostly bat with some butterfly traits - antennae and coloured wings.

Their torso is a light sandy brown, tipped with violet at their claws, tail, nose and antennae. They have paint-like violet markings around their eyes, which line their wide white eyes. All four of their limbs extend out to the wing membrane, which can be used to fly along with their tail as a rudder. The wings are a powdery lavender blue, dotted with eye-like markings of light and dark green. Their tongue is a long proboscis-like muscle and can be used to sip nectar and other liquids.

Backstory:
Born from the sludge, Wai initially kept to the darkest edges of the forest to watch others first before interacting. They found quite quickly that they had a soft spot for bugs, collecting them wherever they went. Gradually they eased their way into society with the others upon finding other animals enjoyed when they collected bugs from their fur. Soon they found their place as a Weaver, picking bugs from whoever wished it so, and keeping them.
