Basic Info
Gruag is a one-eyed battle-shaman with slicing scars on his chin and lip. His tusks are decorated with rings and bits of carved metal.

He is of just below average height for an orc with a physique favouring agility.

His ruddy-violet hair is kept shaved, spare the single length of braid that reaches down well past his waist. His beard is wild and rather unkempt.


Garments & Armor
Gruag wears robes of The Elements, though sometimes the kilt is ditched for greaves in favour of better mobility. Evidence of his patronage to Lo'Gosh is found in the wolf imagery decorating his armor, including the rune-carved pelt he often wears over his face.

An axe and an heirloom hammer called Thunderfang hangs heavily from his belts, alongside an array of totem talismans. The largest of these talismans are carved for the storm and the flame.

Gruag is bombastic, scrappy and in favour of action over contemplation. He can come across as impatient and particularly hotheaded.

Gruag was a brute and a brawler before beginning to train in Shamanism. The onset of a natural connection to the elements earned him tutelage in his early years and spared him a future otherwise destined for the warriors' barracks. He considers himself an orc of the Horde before any other clan.

He practices traditional orcish reverence to Lo'Gosh the Wolf God. These blessings couple with his allegiance to the Storm and Fire spirits.

His brawler roots are uneasy to shake as he often finds himself returning to the pits of Brawl'gar Arena.

Gruag lost his right eye in the chaos of the first assault on the Broken Isles and continued to serve the Horde on Azeroth throughout the campaign against the Burning Legion.

Gruag's heritage traces back to the now defunct Lightning's Blade clan.

He inherits his hammer and the name Thunderfang from his forebears.

The first orc in this lineage that championed the name was said to have crafted an axe from the fang of a giant dire worg.
