  Zaide is very much a bland young man from far away. His height is short for his biological sex and race (biracial, part South-East Asian, part Caucasian) and his clothed form betrays him by looking slight, if not delicate. His clothing style is also painfully normal, consisting mostly of simple garments in varied shades of brown, grey, black, and green.
  
  Upon closer inspection, Zaide gains some personality. His hair is a dark black-brown of respectable thickness, collecting primarily around his eyes and jaw in choppy waves. The majority of his features are slim and softly angled, giving the impression of both youth and slight androgynism. His eyes are slightly large for his face, oval-shaped, and a warm grey.
  
  His expression is more subdued than those of his apparent age. He is composed and relaxed at most times, if not slightly pensive or "not completely there". His occasional smiles are small and reserved, but genuine. Overall, his aura is subtle, giving him an almost wallflower-esque first impression.

  Zaide comes across as, for the lack of a better describer, a meek young man. Calm and demure to the point of silent, Zaide doesn't talk much even amongst his closest friends. He prefers to go through the everyday motions of life with as little turbulence as possible. For him, the best way to accomplish this is to not ask for much, not expect much, and respond to others only when he must.
  
  This kind of attitude lends him one of two impressions-- the anti-social type or the pushover type. In reality, Zaide is quite neither. He simply doesn't have the desire or motivation to vocally express himself. Instead, he communicates though his actions by completing even the most mediocre of tasks.
  
  Zaide thrives with the subtle displays of intention, so, while his presence is not notable immediately, his impact is more drastic than (even) he acknowledges once he's gone. Despite this, Zaide sees little value in his own work and constantly strives to find better-- whether the superior product comes from him or another.
  
  In his youth, he was given affection, but rarely listened to. This ultimately led to the belief that his ideas were insignificant, so he stopped offering them. Over time, this lead to indecision and, gradually, indifference.   He takes most of everything at face value and reacts accordingly. Sometimes, however, he has the habit of not reacting enough.
  
  
  He believes that he doesn't know himself too well and, in some cases, he struggles in even trusting his own abilities and strengths. Pretty much, he's wandering blind in his own head. He has spent (and spends) the majority of his life looking for something or someone to explain to him what he needs to know and guide him to what is right. He, however, is deathly afraid that his inexperience and naivety makes him vulnerable, so he over-compensates by taking the idea "isolation is protection" to heart.
  
  
  
  
  
  Zaide can easily prove that he can work alone when need be and is very resourceful and self-reliant. He is thorough and detailed in his planning and usually can come up with an idea of how to do something very quickly. In fact, he is usually thinking about all possible consequences (that he knows of) of his actions before he does so. Once given an objective, he is a hard, is not tireless, worker and will be quiet likely to pin failure upon himself as incompetence. Depending on the stage of his life and the severity of the failure, it can affect him by pushing him in a phase of relentless self-improvement or one of equally harsh self-pity.
