    • Personality: Denali has a tendency to seem emotionless, stuck in his perfectionistic ways and always focused on his own little world. He’s very prideful of his knowledge and skills, and because of this tends to not follow rules set by others. When things don’t go his way he’s more likely to react in an annoyed way, without anger, more disappointment. Denali is closed off, and would much rather dive into a book on a stormy night than meet people or take part in activities. He's a bit sarcastic yet formal too.

  • Backstory

    Denali was conceived by his mother Diega, who was entirely Cuban, and his father, Ryan, who was a pureblood Englishman. They met in America, Massachusetts. Ryan had come over to America just three years before as a blacksmith with a dream. Diega had fled her country in order to further her knowledge, power, and skill. They fell in love and settled together. Denali and his brother Rune were born just two years later. Ryan had known that Diega was a strong witch that came from a long line of wiccans, this didn't bother him at all. However during the time, witches were being attacked by christian groups for use of black magic, and were getting killed. She had stopped her practices, but someone sold her out, both her and her husband were killed. Denali and Rune were less than a year old. The man who had sold out their parents took them both, as no one knew they had been born. This man delivered the children to a professor in Maine who was practicing a study on magical children, twins, who would be separated at birth and given to two very different families.

    Denali knows nothing of his brother, and vice versa. Denali was sent to a family in Britain. One that was considered mundane, and tried to keep him away from magic. As time progressed he would learn in secret, and once he was of age he left and moved to America, Louisiana. He never looked back, as he felt they held him back and never really felt like family. Here in the states he studied on his own for three years, before being invited into a renowned coven for his exceptional skills and knowledge. He was able to truly flourish and advance with the access to books, ingredients, and other witches. His amazing memory and dedication had allowed him to become an amazing young witch, one of the fastest advancing witches known to date. He's young but was well know within the coven, even if he didn't work with others. As fate would have it though, Denali's coven was found and infiltrated by a christian missionary group, who's intent was sour. In a hidden from view fight between witch and god, the coven was split and disbanded.

    Denali moved to South Carolina with the two leaders of the previously strong coven. Raven and Rayen. Two married witches who were very sweet and some of the only people Denali had ever actually become friends with. Here (in their coven of three) they worked a small shop in town. Selling potions, telling fortunes, talking with spirits. Anything to get by. Denali finds himself at his home often, alone, learning and creating his own works and spellbooks. Studying herbs and growing his gardens.
