Lyall Skjöldolfr

Since he lost his brother, Lyall has had a dark view of the world around him. He has little care for much of anything. His only focus is on discovering what happened to his brother. All he knows is that his brother is not here, and whatever took him was not of the natural world. Turning to the occult and the myths/legends of ancient times, Lyall discovered horrors most people never dream of... A world of supernatural beings who prey on unknowing victims to feed their twisted, insatiable thirst and hunger. Unable to sit and watch these monster prey on humans... Lyall has taken up arms against these supernatural terrors. Already an accomplished hunter, thanks to all the rigorous training his father put him through, Lyall is confident these supernatural beings will be no different than hunting the countless beasts of the wilds. He is able to wield a bow with practiced discipline and skill, and any rifle with deadly efficiency. Setting out with his trusted rifle, bow, quiver of arrows, and other essentials... Lyall ventures off, seeking answers on the whereabouts of his brother and as a hunter of the supernatural horrors that gather in the world around him.

-Lyall is often overconfident due to his prowess with an array of ranged weaponry.
-Can wield a bow with well practiced discipline and skill
-Can wield any rifle with deadly efficiency
-Unable to effectively wield weapons in close combat
-Accomplished tracker but not known to many
-Adept at skinning natural beasts, has little knowledge of unnatural beasts
-Has some advanced knowledge of the occult and supernatural world
-Technically inept, can use electronics (Computers, Tablets, Phones) but with much difficulty.
-Always alert and aware of his surroundings, unless a companion he trusts is nearby.

Lyall is stoic and often grim, with a dark view of the world which surrounds him. He sees no good in the world anymore, and instead sees a world burning in an ever growing flame of hate and violence. This is not to say he is pessimistic, this is not so... Rather he has become cold and numb. He often tries to see the lighter side of things but just can't. The loss of his brother, and the horrors he has discovered changed him. There was a time when he was one of the brightest lights around, he could make a whole village smile with a few terrible jokes, and a goofy smile. He was once a man who not only helped people, but went above and beyond for all in need. When he lost his brother, his heart went numb. Discovering the supernatural horrors, broke him... Turning him to the darkened soul before you. His only wish is to be reunited with his brother, wherever he is. All decisions he makes drives him toward that end.

Lyall's only traveling companion is Silver. She is a young wolf, about 2 years in age, and very loyal and protective of Lyall. Her fur coat is a lustrous lunar grey, that almost makes her glow under clear moonlit skies. He found her when she was barely 3 months old abandoned and alone in the wilds. He took care of and fed her, and taught the cub how to hunt and kill, and many words of command. When she was ready, Lyall returned her to the wilds, and she came right back to him. Since then, she has never been far from Lyall, and keeps an ever watchful guard over him.
