Appearance: Xiao is a young woman with orange-ish black hair in a short bob cut. She’s sleek, with a slender figure and small frame (standing only about 5’2”). As with her race, she had red eyes, furry red panda ears as well as a bushy tail.

Xiao typically wears an open martial arts gi with a dudou underneath with an orange and brown motif, as well as matching tights with a bamboo motif. Most of the time, she’ll have a special alloy staff with her.
Personality: Fiery temperament would be the ultimate way to describe Xiao. She’s quick to anger and quick to express herself. Despite her annoyance with them, she has great pride in her family’s prestige, and won’t stand to dishonor them (as long as they’re befitting her views of what honor is, anyway). She’s also quick to use her fists to solve problems, particularly when it comes to disputes, but she’s also been keen to use them in everyday tasks (such as broken pieces)

Xiao also possesses an air of confidence in her abilities and prestige bordering on the egotistical. While she is not above mistakes, she will ensure that she remains at the top of whatever she’s doing competitively. Failure for her is not an option.

Despite this self confident streak, Xiao hides a lot of vulnerabilities. The last she wants is to live in a gilded cage of her family’s choosing, particularly marriage to someone she’s never met before. While she hides it well, Xiao also suffers from heavy self doubt in relation to her position in the family.
Powers and Abilities: Being a member of the Huang family, Xiao is trained in a secret family martial arts that utilizes pressure points and momentum. Even someone as small statues as Xiao has no trouble dealing with opponents larger than her if they’re unprepared. She’s both agile and deceptively strong.

On top of this, Xiao can channel ki into her limbs and tail. These can both harden into a sort of fiery armor or be dispersed into flames outside of her body. While it doesn’t disperse far, anyone in the wrong radius could very well be badly burned.
Backstory: Born the daughter of the illustrious Huang family, Xiao was destined to live a life of prestige and prosperity. Her upper class life would give her anything she wanted. The regular populace were nothing more than peasants to grovel at her feet.

Yet, this was not what Xiao wanted.

Every goal, aspiration, and dream was decided for her in life. From what classes she attended in school to who she was allowed to hang out with, all of it was decided by her family. Eventually, her family would decide who she would marry too. Seeing as how Ailurun were a rare breed, it would likely even be from one of the few families she knew. This gilded prison was weighing on Xiao’s soul, and she wished to change it all. Xiao didn’t know how yet, but she would decide her own destiny.
