Appearance: Harbur is a young man with tan-white skin and reddish-brown fur. Being a half Minotaur, his genes have created an amalgamation between the two species. He has a human-like face with a wide nose and broad features. The sides of his face moving down the sides of his body are covered in coarse hair, and he has cow-like ears with long horns to match. He has brown eyes. Finally, he does have a cow’s tail behind him.

Befitting his mixed heritage as well, Harbur has a naturally large frame and built physique from years of physical labor along with his biological. Despite this, Harbur is not a fighter, and does not dress as such. In fact, he’ll more often be seen wearing casual tavern clothes, including a plain shirt and overalls. Even on his journeys, he wears a cleric’s tunic with white pants and a cloak to match. With that, he carries a healer’s stave, though it does have a double sided axe to assist should he be in danger.
Personality: Despite his imposing presence and strong physique, Harbur is a pacifist at heart. He is a quiet and patient lad with a heart of gold. He is always polite and speaks incredibly formally too, manners taught by his human mother.

Yet, Harbur has always been a man of quiet ambition. He doesn’t wish to work at the tavern or on the farm all his life. Instead, he wishes to go out and find his destiny, just as his own parents did. He wishes to help those in need, and heal the injured and sick. In a strange twist of fate, he wishes to follow his mother’s path of the cleric.
Powers and Abilities: Being a half-Minotaur, Harbur’s physique is naturally strong, capable of easily lifting what two to three athletic human men could. His time on the farm has only made his physique that much stronger.

Despite this, Harbur is a natural pacifist and prefers to not to fight. While he has no qualms acting as a shield and protecting his allies, he doesn’t typically seek to be the aggressor in situations. While he won’t lay down and die, he’ll be hard pressed to hurt or kill someone unless he has to.

To compensate, Harbur is extremely adept at both light and healing magic. He can heal wounds with relative ease so long as they’re not too mortal, provide shields to allies, and give them blessings that amp up their attacking strength, speed, and reaction time. While he can use offensive holy magic, he prefers to use it exclusively on those who are inherently evil or already dead.

Backstory: Before Harbur was born, a party of adventurers headed on a quest to save a kingdom. They completed their adventure, but two of the heroes formed an unlikely love bond. Jarrios the minotaur barbarian and Clarita the human mage had fallen deeply in love. With desire for a simpler life, they married, opened a tavern on the outskirts. From there, they had a few children, including Harbur.

Thus, Harbur grew up in the tavern alongside his parents and siblings. He learned how to serve drinks and food, perform household chores, and even tend a farm from an early age. Yet, Harbur’s calling was out there in the world.

Contrary to what many would presume, though, Harbur didn’t wish to be a warrior. Instead, he studied his mother’s old magical spell books of healing and light. He wanted to help the world, and trained every day to protect those in need. Thankfully, his parents approved, provided he only decided to go on a journey when he was old enough to do it independently.

That day has come, and Harbur yearns to head out into the world to make a name for himself...
