  • The House of The Unloved

    These are Characters that Have Not been played. They have been laying around in dormancy. I am looking for anyone who can write at least 1 paragraph (like 25 words or so) that will make the RP interesting. You may apply for any of the Characters here and see if that Character will accept you. Be sure to read each Character's Profile for each is different and unique in it's own way.

  • My Rules

    Name: Pharmakeia (Pharmacy) Kalisha (sorceress) Louhi (trance)
    LOUHI: Finnish myth name from the Kalevala, possibly meaning "trance." Louhi was a queen of Pohjola, and a witch with the ability to shape-shift and cast powerful magic spells.

    Personality: Quiet and efficient in her work. Loves her daughter and is very protective of her.
    Special Abilities: She can do ‘African Magic’. Deals with any African Afflictions and is an Exorcist.
    Magick Training: Verbally handed down from her Elder. She has a new technique which she does not share with anyone.
    Bio: Her past is her past, not anyone else’s. If you ever get her to open up and talk of her past, you are very fortunate.

    Dislikes: Being separated from her mother, not having something to eat when hungry or to drink when thirsty. People talking to her.
    Personality: Ultra shy, non talkative, very alert and watches everyone, Very responsible, intelligent but does not understand anything but her native language.
    Special Abilities: She is ‘one with animals’ and can shift into a monkey or feline.
    Magick Training: Verbal from her mother.
    Bio: She really does not have much of a history besides following her mother about and taking care of her monkey.
    TOTIT, a female monkey
    Totit was found by Zuri in a trash can as she waited on her mother who was inside the pet shop. The monkey was barely breathing and was bleeding from a total nail removal of her claws. Zuri instinctively hid the tiny monkey until her mother came out. Needless to say, Dr Pharmakeia called in the Authorities and they were finally able to get the needed evidence to convict the pet shop and all who worked for them arrested.
    Instead of a monetary reward, Zuri asked to be given the baby monkey to take care of. It was agreed on and the monkey was taken to the local vet for the bleeding and overnight care. Zuri has been very dutiful keeper of the monkey.
    The monkey’s testing showed that it was specially bred between a Pygmy Golden Monkey and Pygmy Golden Lion Marmoset. Totit has been fixed and is dependent on Zuri.

    Personality: Quiet but not shy. Prefers to stay on the outside edge of any grouping because she fears rejection by others. Hard worker and wishes to be helpful to others without be taken advantage of.
    Likes: animals, chocolate, sunshine, rainbows
    Dislikes: arguments, fighting, storms, backstabbers
    Knack: Sewing perfectly
    Gift: telepathy with a tiny sugar glider that she rescued when its mother was killed by a car. After she does telepathy, she has a headache from a light one to a full blown migraine headache that sends her to bed with a warm cloth and dark room with no noise.
    Bio:
    Aisling grew up in the circus because she was born to circus performers. She had two older brothers and a younger sister, all stayed with the circus. Aisling tried every available job from the nasty animal manure to attempting to be part of the family trapeze act. She was not even a good clown. Mostly because she didn’t have true interest in any of it except to watch. She had a vast knowledge of what to do, just no desire.
    One day after she once again ripped a costume, she shown a sewing machine and the seamstress simply said to fix it herself for she had too much to do. The 21 year old did not know how to fix a clown suit nor how to use a sewing machine but she managed to do well enough to do a simple fix for her clown suit. Soon she bought her own machine and started making her own clothing.
    She borrowed patterns and made her own copy of patterns so that she could help as much as possible.
    Before long, she was told to leave the sewing to the seamstress. With tears in her eyes, Aisling began to pack up her sewing machine and such. A large argument broke out over the machine and Aisling proved that she had bought the machine and supplies with her own money. No one thought that she would save each and every receipt. She was given her pay and went home to another argument. She went to bed totally upset and blocked the door, refusing to get into her clown suit or put on makeup or even talk it out with anyone.
    Needless to say, the show went on without her. Three back to back shows, the family came back to see a note on the table stating that she left since she was no good at anything at the circus.
    Aisling was walking into town when she found a job in an acting academy as a seamstress. She took a few courses that fit into her schedule until she saw a chance to apply for and receive a grant to go to BBC.
    While she loaded her car, she saw an animal nearby that was run over. She paused and picked it to place it in a trash can. A tiny head fell out and a pink body slid out of a pouch. The mother was dead and not very warm. Ailing thought she heard a tiny help but thought it was her imagination. One thing was for sure and that was the fact that she could not leave the infant to die. She would care for it until it was old enough to survive on its own then release it. At the pet store, she found out many things about the tiny baby. The mother had come up missing from a breeder and since she found it, he wouldn’t say anything about it if she bought what she needed from him. She agreed and she spent her traveling money on the baby which she named Babykins. Or at least for now.

    I am what I am.

    I am barely new and have no background yet. So I am like an open book.

    I am 17 years with 2 older siblings that are married. One is a king who is a step brother and has a strong dislike towards me. The same with the step sister.. except that she is a queen far away.

    I am staying with a family friend who had 2 daughters near by age or so I w as told. They are 15 and 16. The 16 year old - Annabelle - is having her turn at the balls. Once she is wed, then it will be the 15 year old- Graceanne- turn at her balls.

    Even though I am a princess, I am treat more like a Companion to the girls. It is not a bad job but they are getting paid to see that I am married off. I am assuming that it will be after the other two are wedded.

    I am quite talented and love to play my harmonium. I do paint well enough, my embroidery is excellent as is my penmanship. I have a few hidden talents which are put away for the moment.

    What do I want to do or be? I do not know at this time but when I do find out, nothing will stop me.

    Graceanne was married off and was (and still is) impregnanted quickly.
    Not much effort was placed on my coming out for by then I was 19 and considered an old maid. I only had the short season as my coming out time. Then I was asked to come into the office which to my knowledge bore no good outcome to those who were called in. Nervously I hurried to my room and made sure that I was more than ready to go into that office. Not even one hair was out of place. I took several deep breathes to steady myself and walked into the room with my head held high and an expectant look in my eyes even though I had heard the rumors circulating about the staff when they thought that I was not listening to what they say.

    I stood several feet away with my hand and arms hanging loosely down at my sides. I had nothing to fear from them I had told myself many times over. They started to list why I did not get a suitor- as if it was my fault that I was too old to attract one. I was able to easily defend myself of all they said. After all, I should have been the first one to have a coming out. I was the eldest of the three and being a princess, I was several ranks above them. They could not deny any of my words but they did to to persuade me to look at the situation from their view point.
    And after all, being a nanny to two wonderful, sweet boys would do me a world of good!

    I thought for a minute and knew instantly that I had options here. I could simply go along with their scheme and become the nanny of two bratty boys who blamed each other for any misbehavior. I could refuse and just stay with them indefinitely- which I would not do since I could barely be civil to them any longer after this talk. Or I could go to my solicitor and talk with him for more options. Upon which I began to feel a bit faint and needed some air. (More than 2 can play that game- ha!)
    As I suspected, they found some money from their meager funds (Not sure about that yet.....) then sent me to my small room to get my things, (I was not allowed to place them in the family coat room) while a stable boy would get the old carriage out for my drive to the park. Perhaps I might find someone to perk myself up with even! Just because one door closes doesn't mean that there was not a window opened somewhere else.
    I agreed demurely and a slowly as well as gracefully, walked out of the office with my head held high and a purpose in my mind.


    I was soon downstairs and was ready to take my airing.
    I still was a bit listless as I approached the front door. They came came to make sure that I was safely in the carriage and off of their property before anything else could happen.
    The stable boy was the one who drove me to the park. As I approach the far side of the park, I tapped the roof and the he slowed the horses to a stop (not knowing that he should have just simply opened the window to see what I needed.) He had difficulty opening the window between us but he did mange to pen it. (He couldn't be more than 8- 9 at the most).
    "I wish to see my Solicitor, a Mr. Thomas Henson 127 Piccadilly Way. Do you know how to get there, perhaps?" I asked.

    "I should say that I do. Me own father made me memorize each Solicitor their and who they represent. I'll take you directly there." he spoke cheerfully.
    "Thank you.. If you can get me there quickly but safely, you may have a tip to go get some ice cream on." I spoke with a smile knowing that any child would do a great many things for such a treat.

    The stable boy soon had me at the solicitors where I took out one of my last cards and gave to the stable boy who quickly took it and ran up to the door where he rang the bell then stepped back to wait for someone to come to the door. Either an unsure butler or perhaps an underbutler answered the door. He carefully took the card, looked at it then at the couch where I was sitting. He closed the door after speaking with the boy. The stable boy stood as still as any other young boy would - first on one foot then the other until the the door opened. A well dressed gentleman came out and spoke to the boy. They came quickly to the coach, he exclaimed
    "Princess Cailleach! Has bad times fallen on you?" He opened the door to assist me out.
    "You are a real princess? For truely?" the stableboy spoke in surprise.
    "Yes, but you need to keep it a secret or something terrible might happen to me. Can you keep me a secret for a while?" I asked as I took a few smaller coins out and held them out to the boy.
    "Sure I can do that for you. May I go get some ice cream now. please?" he asked eagerly.
    "Yes, run along and enjoy your ice cream, Come back at 11:00." I spoke with a smile.
    "Yes, m'am." he spoke and then ran down the road for his ice cream.


    The gentleman walked me up to the door and inside.
    It was very luxurious and pleasant to the eye. I was lead into the office of my solicitor, Mr. Thomas Henson greeted me warmly, inquiring after my husband.

    The gentleman bowed to me and excused himself but was stopped by Mr. Henson who introduce us. Mr. Jacques Stephanwolfe smiled at me as he bowed once more. I smiled back at the delightful gentleman. I suggested that we move to a meeting room for there was much that I wish to speak about.

    Mr. Henson leaned out the door and asked Mrs. Wilson to take notes at the meeting. We went to the meeting room in the back of the building, (Mr. Stephanwolfe was kinda forced to offer his arm since Mr. Henson decided to lead us there.
    Once we were all settled around the table, I told them my true story. Which they found that it was incredible. But they would get to the heart of the matters. Now I should go lie down and rest for a while in the hotel behind. I had to admit that I was tired due to the stress of such things and willingly went to the hotel with Mr. Stephanwolfe.

    a thorough investigation was made on my behalf. They found out what I had said was true. Not that they disbelieved me but they had to prove to the board with legit proof and signatures. Now they can set me up with a fund in my own home. I would hire what I felt like I needed to run my own home. The board would guide me for a while and see what I can do on my own before letting me go completely on my own.
    Mr. Stephanwolfe was to be my new solicitor and I would be his first client. I was very glad not to go back to face them. They could retaliate in some way. The stableboy would become my young stablehand in training. Mr. Stephanwolfe had a sister who needed a position. I agreed to her being my personal maid then I needed to choose my home then the furniture. Tomorrow, I would start on my new wardrobe and such things. Once that was done, we would move myself into my new home. I could even throw a party if I wanted to do so. Life is finally good to me.
