Appearance: Saorise is a young Irish woman with fair skin, long red curly hair often tied into ponytails, green eyes, and covered in freckles. She’s tall and slim, but still a curvaceous figure. Because of her role as a warrior princess, she’s also quite physically fit.

Having never enjoyed the princess‘s life, she will only wear feminine gowns when necessary. More often than not, she’ll wear what men wear, both in and out of combat. In particular, however, her favored belongings are her sword, a double edged longsword, and a green gemstone her mother gave her.
Personality: Saorise is a tough no nonsense young woman. While she has the class to be with her social standing sometimes, she prefers to be as cut and dry as possible. She can be profane, loud, headstrong, and boisterous; especially to those who think they can talk down to her.

Yet, this also hides a vulnerability of not being good enough. Saorise curses her fate about being born the fairer sex and being pigeonholed into having her destiny chosen for her.
Powers and Abilities: Saorise is a capable sword fighter and brawler who has trained with the common soldiers. On top of this, she is quite a proficient fighter with most weapons in a pinch. Her favorites are obviously the sword and spear, but she can fire a bow and arrow if needed.

Her gemstone allows her to use wind magic with great proficiency (only in RPs where magic is allowed).
Backstory: Born the daughter of Feradach Finnfechtnach, the high king of Ireland, Saorise had always enjoyed a position of privilege in her life. Despite this, she could often be found hanging around the blacksmiths and the soldiers, marveling at the combative abilities of her father’s fighters. In time, she even decided to train and become a capable fighter in her own right.

Though he was high king, Feradach hardly ruled the island. Many feudal warlords merely paid lip service to the man before doing their own thing. As such, war was common.

As such, Saorise has been groomed since birth to one day be used as a bargaining chip. Saorise didn’t want this fate. It was her desire and her birthright to be a warrior. Thus, when the opportunity was given… she suited up to join her first battle.
