Appearance: Once Devout is a young looking elven figure with fair skin and black hair allowed to flow long. They have a slim and lithe figure that helps with their fighting style. Their eyes are a deep jade green.

Once Devout typically wears white eastern oriented white garbs, including a sleeveless hanfu robe with a short skirt parted at the legs. There are floral arrangements of light blue and yellow across the skirt. They also wear long stockings and sandals. On their head or around their neck is an oriental sun hat.

Once Devout wields a qiang spear with an white horsehair tassel.

Personality: Once Devout is kind and pious, oftentimes looking out for the less unfortunate. They would give the clothes off their back if it would help those in need. They will frequently volunteer to heal the sick and feed the poor in impoverished areas.

Despite this, Once Devout is far from a pacifist. Any and all who attempt to attack the weak feel the wrath of her spear. To match this, their bravery and skill often take them against any foes, no matter their size or strength.

However, all of this devotion to piety and charity masks a vulnerability. Once Devout is plagued by a past she refuses to speak of, one that haunts them. Any attempting to pry into it may be on the receiving end of a verbal admonishment.

Abilities and Skills: Once Devout possesses immense prowess in both physical and magical finesse. Their skill with the spear has been honed for what they allege to be hundreds of years. Indeed, Once Devout has taken on entire divisions and succeeded before.

Once Devout is incredibly quick on their feet, able to move at times faster than an untrained human being can react. Combined with this, their own reaction speeds are immense as well. While they do suffer in the strength category, their speed is more than enough to compensate.

Yet, the abilities that Once Devout prides themself in most of all is their light magic. Having been a priestess in their old life, Once Devout has incredible capabilities to heal the wounded. Not only that, but these spells can be used offensively to bind and destroy evil as well.
Backstory: Once Devout seldom speaks about their past. What is known, however, is that they were once a priestess in a village in Terranadacia. They had a peaceful and pious life until tragedy struck one day. What happened specifically, she doesn’t talk about…

What was certain is that they fled their old life. They ran as far as their legs would carry them. Only when they had truly gotten away did they finally settle down again.

From there, as far as they were concerned, their old life was dead. They trained with a master spear fighter and learned the art of chivalry and combat. No more would they stand by and let evil fester. Once Devout was born, and they would actively protect the weak.
