Jacqueline Harlow

Raised by a single mother, Jacqueline grew up in the California city of Berkeley as a charismatic and bubbly young girl, always facing the world with a cheerful smile on her face. As she grew into her adolescent years, Jacqueline developed a rebellious and rather darker "wild" streak in her attitude, baffling her mother as the woman could never pinpoint the cause for her daughter's behavior. Yet despite her sassy strength of character, Jacqueline is an extremely intelligent girl who earns her grades in high school quite effortlessly, while also finding time to pursue her extra curricular interest in the school band as well.

By the time Jacqueline was 15 years old, her small family received heartbreaking news; her mother had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, without much chance for recovery. Only a year later, she passed away when Jacqueline was only 16 years old. With no family left to go home to, Jacqueline began to search for her absent father with only vague stories and a name passed down to her; the name James Harlow.

That name led Jacqueline to the ritzy city of Los Angeles, to the business district more specifically. In that district she sought out the building that contained the office of Harlow's Finest whiskey, where James Harlow was the proprietor. But Jacqueline was quick to discover not her father, but her businessman older half-brother instead, who shares a similar name with their father.

After the intial shock of the meeting, Jacqueline was intially turned away coldly by her newfound sibling. But her desperate, tear stained face hadn't gotten far before he had chased her down, and Jacqueline found herself trusting her brother and the arrangements he made for her. Not long afterwards Jacqueline met her other older brother, Gerald, and she discovered that he also had a interest and a notable talent for music, gaining himself a successful career in the industry. Once settled in, Jacqueline found part of herself gravitating towards the secure comfort and guidance her oldest brother provided her, yet also to the fun and wild eccentricities that her other brother offered her. All in all, Jacqueline had the overwhelming sense that she had found her new home and family most of all.

Eventually, Jacqueline was introduced to her step-mother Julia, and her own father Jay Harlow, who was unaware that he even had a daughter to begin with. Yet once family tensions between all siblings and parents were sorted out in the typical Harlow fashion, it still remains to be seen whether the disjointed family will ever be truly whole and accepting of all members.
